Ok, i scrapped my last website and creating a new one, this is going to be a center for miniature painters in Sweden.

I havent started the coding yet so i can only provide you with a image.

Critics? It was a while since i designed a website.
I will do the coding with html and CSS, hopefully with some php to.

Now i got two problems :P

1. Need a logo, i dont have the skills to create one myself.. so if anyone is interested  :wink:
2. I want to create a "new's" system, where i can login as an admin and post news to the site, without the need to edit the files and reupload them all the time.

I like the banner and your color choices, very clean and simple.

Thank you Nphyx, my goal is to create a site that is easy on the eye as it is going to contain alot of text.
I was afraid that it was TO dark, even if most of my friends told me it wasnt.

I have started the coding now, mostly CSS+html, used php to break the site into smaller pieces so it will be easy to moderate the site.


I feel that it is kinda empty on the right side though, i would want to include something like *latest posts* from the forum i am going to use, wich is going to be made with SMF 1.1.4, but i dont really have a clue how to do that?

At the moment i only have the site on my local server, although i could get a DNS if you want to see it live.

I've found that I don't even know what I need... I'm just kind of playing things by ear and going one step at a time etc.  But if I do need graphics I will definitely ask since your talent is through the proverbial roof

I have an idea to come up with several themes for my personal site as I go along and make them user selectable.  Something like the css zen garden project, to demo my design skills.

I'm pitching for a contract with http://www.fishfordish.com (I know the owner personally), it's in desperate need of a designer.  Here's a quick mockup I threw together this evening - don't mind the text & content inserts, they're literally cut & pasted off the site with the help of the magic wand tool and they look horrible.  I am not going to go to the effort of anything more than it took me to put this together until I know whether or not she's going to give it to me for sure.

Looks fine to me! My only quarrel is the poor contrast between the headers and the BG's. But that's a matter of opinion, really.
