Okay, let's take all the foreigners and put them back where they came from. Take Trump, throw him in the general vicinity of Germany. Take you, toss you all over Africa. Take me, cut me into itty bitty pieces, toss me all over Europe. Leave a few million people with Native American ancestry here, in their ancestral home.

There, immigrants gone, nearly 320 million people killed or displaced, one of the most powerful nations on Earth toppled overnight by the idea of one random forum member and anyone else who can add 2+2 and get three rather than four.

We don't owe you anything, any more than we owe anyone else anything. If everyone is inherently responsible for the actions of their ancestors, then we should just lead everyone on Earth to the chopping block and call it a day, since everyone on earth is related to murderers in some way.

If being descended from murderers doesn't make you responsible for the actions of your ancestors and thus deserving of their punishments, than neither does being descended from slaveowners or slave traders because guess what? Causality is a one way street and we've got a ticket to the future.

Also, if forcing your language on the world is the right of a true superpower nation, have fun learning Mandarin. A third of the world population, nuclear weaponry, and direct ownership of US debt means China owns us, truly and completely. Oh, and they make our everything, because labor laws that make factories safer also make them more expensive.

But seriously, most of the problems in the United States are direct or indirect results of corporations and politicians borrowing against the future. Take money from education here, from infrastructure there. Ignore protections over yonder, maybe cut a few corners to save a few bucks. Two generations later you have people being taught to regurgitate whatever they're told rather than being taught to think, budgeting problems out the wazoo, a steadily collapsing infrastructure, widening income gap, and worse.

Two generations of borrowing against the future, and the check is coming due. And it's our generation that's going to be forced to pick up the tab.

1) just because your ancestors lived here for 3+ generations doesnt give you any more rights. You shouldn't get special treatment.

Americans shouldn't have to learn another language to find a good job in America. This a thing in south Florida. Obviously it's not right..

Also the idea of immigrants getting more benefits than the people who live here is absurd and not true. This idea has been around for hundreds of years and i still hear it today; although generally its white people berating colored people for getting way more advantages then them because that person is colored and he/she is white. I hear it about once a month. Would you consider that to true?

Our country would. not. function. At all. Without immigrants. They get the short end of the stick, shafted with front ends of stores, essential services, etc. Get rid of the recent immigrants, and you can have all the money you want and nobody to deal with the trash, nobody to fix things that break, nobody to take your money and give you a terrible gas station hot dog. Probably the most impressive thing that the politicians and the 1% in our country have managed is making those below them believe that the problem isn't with those in control of power hoarding it for themselves and shafting everyone else, but with those who have next to no power at all. Who is to blame? The corrupt lawmaker on capitol hill who takes a bribe, er, campaign contribution so a corporation can screw you over, or the cashier at the local gas station who is getting screwed just as hard as you, just in a different manner? Too many people legitimately believe the cashier is at fault, and that is one of the most impressive tricks I've ever seen.
