looks hi-res so i can't really use it while hosting SMP, but it's neat, regardless!

i've been using a heavily personally-edited version of Jolicraft though (16x16) and it looks pretty nice without adding any extra hang.
haven't updated it for 1.5 yet, (don't know if anything was added to it) but if anyone wants it, I can share.

Are these guys stupid? It is really easy to make a much less complicated track that doesn't require an incline.

You start like they did (wall of blocks with a line of booster tracks going away from it), and just redstone wire a button on the ceiling above the front of the cart to the tracks. You press the button, and voila, you are off. I always put a detector track at the end of these, so that if you are coming in reverse on the same track (since I usually only use one track to go in either direction) you won't stop on the booster tracks, because you give them a short burst of power which is enough to get you right back to the wall blocks.

So the mine track blocks are on a V pattern of stone (track = T, stone = S, Redstone = R, Dirt = D)

that would be a cross-section of the track. It doesn't matter what piece of track it touches, as long as its the powered rail.

What option of the Painterly Pack do you use to get those leaves? And are you on fancy?

Haha, yeah, interior design is like the only female skill I have. And I'm using the regular green leaves. And yes, it's on fancy.

Man, watching that again, the camera is horrible. Oh well, whatever, I'll do a better job next time I make a video. Fraps makes my MC lag so badly, though.

I still can't believe we have practically the same computer and yours manages to run Minecraft so much better than mine. Your graphics chip must have more current OpenGL support or something...
