Currently I am going to be seriously thinking about revamping the entire game in a Breeze Styled game. With all events in order, the game still being worked on, and it still young enough to get an overhaul... I seriously want to consider doing this. It won't change the outcome of the game, it won't change any dynamics of the game, nor will it diminish any of the game what-so-ever, in fact it will more than likely make the game more unique. The easy use of emotions and animations of the template will convey characters much better than any RTP character ever could. Of course I will still release the RTP version of the demo, but I would love to see this game in Breeze. If I can get spriters to create tilesets and recreate the sprites of this game in Breeze, then I will completely change the game to Breeze only... It will be lots of work, but I think it would be worth it to finally see a game released with the breeze style, ABS, custom puzzles, and a deep storyline that will span across 9 episodes.

I just want to see what everyone thinks, if it is worth the work, I will strive to achieve it, but I am going to need some seriously dedicated spriters to assist on this.

the breeze style? uh I don't know....if you want your game to attract a younger audience because thats what I think when I see breeze. I mean you can't really have a serious game breeze style with people getting ate by dragons and stuff XD but if you're going for something a little bit more lighthearted then by all means......
 
The game isn't necessarily violent, Luna does all of the violent acts in the game. I am simply intrigued by the style and really think it would be interesting to see a game in this style released soon. I am slowly turned off by the RTP as it is, it is very overused and I would like to have something fresh and clean.

One other reason I love breeze so much, its new, it is a very clean and unique style. Definitely an option for a game such as this!
 
I respect what you're trying to do...but getting tilesets that go with Breeze charsets is going to be.....painful. Good luck tho.
 
Yep, the heads are great for emotions, and the bodies are small enough to do big animations such as flipping and such. It will be hardwork at first, but once all the characters are finished, it should be quite a "breeze" sorry.. bad pun... to get this all done!
 
For the next few days, I'm going to be ironing out the bugs my team has found in the game and release the first demo. I'm afraid the demo may have a bug or two that will have to wait till another time to get fixed as I haven't been able to contact the scripter to help fix it... Though if any scripter who knows Mr.Mo's ABS well and how to work with CMS's please let me know and we can try and see if we could fix it before the released.

This is the moment a lot have been waiting for. The release of the public demo. The demo spans about 30-40 minutes depending on how fast you read, add another 10 minutes from the tutorial added as a special bonus to all those people who want to try the game mechanics out.

Read the READ ME before you play to learn vital information before attempting to play. I really hope all of you enjoy this. Once our breeze spriting revamp is finished, we will release an updated version of the demo you see here with more content, new graphics, and a fresh new feel! So that is our next plan of work for Kailis, be expecting it in a few months!

I was really excited about this but for some reason when I play it it is lagging terribly. The whole game constantly stutters... :(

EDIT: It also seems to freeze for a bit when a new map loads. After I talked to Loki and entered the shrine the game just didn't seem to proceed. The dragon kept flapping its wings but no one said anything and nothing happened.
 
That's impossible. I did an entire runthrough of the game before I released it. And when I played it, all events worked as intended. As well we have 2 anti-lag scripts in the game, you might want to try working with less stuff on your desktop and running in the background, it takes up a pretty high priority for programs, so things like windows media player, all messengers, even internet can cause it to lag. I have a good computer and mine runs at 20-30 FPS, and that is with 10 different things running at the same time. I can't possibly think it lags that bad for you.

I will look it over and see what I can do. I am going out of town to see my parents one last time before they move to Japan for 2 years, so I will look into making a more lagfree version for people like Anglachel.

sorry but he is right.. it does lag... im on a great computer running quake4 at 100+ fps

try and get a new script from somewhere.. it would be great without the lag
 
Okay, I realize what the bug you are telling me about is. I forgot I added that before`I`compiled it, it isn't freezing, reyvk is set up as an action key event... then the next part is parallel process after you activate it, I didn't set it up to continue as a parallel process. I will fix this tomorrow. When I get home.

As for lag, I have 2 anti-lag scripts in there, all good RMXP games lag, it is probably the battle system, I am going to change it to ABS Lite, and it is supposed to be lagfree. It should make lag decrease. My game runs at 20-30 FPS and at lowest 15 FPS, on my computer. My computer runs games better than yours Xcumasoft, I expect there to be lag, but if you guys want to help me when I get back, to test different styles of anti-lag. If we can get an average base for it, then it should be good to release again. I will leave the demo open for people to try the battle system.

I warn people now there is lag and I can't fix it till I get home tomorrow.

thats not to mention the rest... (in your defence) I dont know about compatibilty with 64bit OS. RMXP may not like my OS.

The game is good. but the speach is sloppy, its a real shame.

Im still playing it (7fps) and i will let you know what i really think
at the end :)

[This is a good project. when all the Bugs are out it will be really worth getting]
