hey... I see at the start that you are going to be sending this into a games company when complete. See, The problem with that is because your art is all RTP (or downloaded) you would have alot of problems with copywrite,
Also, Scripts belong to the people that script them. These are still not the biggest problems, Systems like ABS, ATB, RTB, TBB and others are all under patents, Meaning that you would have to go to the one game company that owns the right to your battle system.
Im sure if you read up on it you will find a site with ways to stop this being the case.... On other problem that I can see is that there is no reason that after you let people download it a company could not just steal your idea.
I will be tell you the truth, I am quite interested by this project but I still believe you would be better to go back to school and get your masters in Game Dev, I would be VERY surprised if a games company take this (or almost any) RMXP game serious.
I do wish you good luck and hope that it does work out for you. If you want to break into the industry go away and think about the mistakes you have made on this game and then make a new game bigger, better and deeper then this one. Then maybe you will have a chance.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and please dont think im flaming.

I've never said I was selling the RMXP game, if I "was" to do it, I would go back through all my various "RTP Styled" Sprites. Quite a few of these sprites were done by me thank you very much, and all of the HUD and Menu was designed by me personally. I am quite offended to hear someone say that I have no talent what-so-ever. I probably have more experience with this program than you, and many other RPG Maker Programs. I've been using them since the days of RM2000.
Now on the other hand, if I was to sell the RMXP game, I would get permission, maybe pay some people obviously, and the fact I am already paying for music, means I'm very aware of my situation. I'm 19, and going to college for the very reason I do this stuff... To make video games. You don't need a masters in video game design, most colleges only have a Bachelors degree in it. Plus I am more of an artist and consider my self a freelance artist and work on my game as a passion hobby. I said I might sell the copyright to my game to a company, you don't think I'm stupid enough to release a game without one do you? I know full well people crack games, the likelihood an RMXP game would be cracked is pretty much screaming this is a really good game if someone went through the trouble of cracking it... If a company did steal it, after it is copyrighted, know full well I am going to be suing them for quite a large sum of money.
My game is supposed to be RTP Styled, I said this when I started the project back in the past, and if you honestly want to see how far gone is, then send me a PM and I'll give you a link to the oldest known, and still functional forum with this game on it, no new updates, all old news. I use very few non-recolored or frankensprited, let alone custom RTP styled Sprites... And when I do, they are already credited.
Please don't judge a book by its cover, don't judge me without knowing me, cause I guess you didn't know I was going to college to learn even more than my own personal experiences about game design.

Gman:
Dragoon is the traditional name for a soldier trained to fight on foot but transport himself on horseback, in use especially during the 17th and early 18th centuries.
Over the years the term Dragoon has "evolved" is the best way to put it. Solldiers have become heavily armored in games, coincidentally from it sounding close to dragon, they generally wore armor resembling a dragon. They also obtained some freak ability, I guess to represent flying like a dragon, to jump extremely high and come down with sword/spear depending on the game. (Take into account, I have not played Legend of the Dragoon, so I don't know if they explain further what they are in that game or not)
I simply have taken the concept a step further, and linked them into having a companionship, understanding, and bond between dragons. Dragoons in my game derive from extensive training using polearms, to resemble the long reach of a dragon, the speed of a dragon, and the piercing bite of a dragon.
Then in addition to the polearm, they obtain an item called a Dragonstone Pendant, this pendant is the link between Kailisian Language and Wyvran Language... when a Wyvra speaks to a dragoon in Wyvran, the pendant allows the dragoon to fully understand what they say, as no other creatures in Kailis other than Wyvra themselves are able to or allowed to understand the ancient Wyvran tongue. Also on one final note, dragoons of Kailis must have a Wyvra Companion to even be considered a full fledged dragoon.
This is to be for the whole selling an RMXP game. I would not sell my RMXP game, just the copyright to the game. RMXP IS a medium to get started, nothing else. I am making a game and have been for quite some time, so I actually have something worth showing to a professor, rather than walking in and just being like "Yeah i can do this and that" and have absolutely nothing to show for it. RMXP is a stepping stone to things like C# and VB. I plan on studying them as well, but I want to finish Kailis first.
As for a spriter, I still don't have one, and I'm frustrated that I can't find one. My girlfriend said she might have found a guy who does the same stuff as me and he would get back to her if he found a spriter willing to help. But still I need one and really hope one finds their way to me soon.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm quite blunt about things and want to let you know I'm not as stupid as I look. I do have my game planned out, i spent 2 years doing nothing BUT that. So I hope I have the goods to do this, and know that I am going to college for this stuff, let alone I have years of computer art and design experience, so please don't tell me I can't do anything artistic.
