I play guitar (I've got an acoustic MARTINEZ) and apparently am quite the singer. My grandma gave me a guitar last year and I just taught myself how to read tabs and chords and ect.

I'm a guitarist mostly, and I've been playing for a little over 3 years, though I've been steadily learning violin and piano for a few months now as well. I can't say I'm good enough at violin to record anything worth listening to yet, but I'm getting there.

Anyway, as far as the compositional side of being a musician goes, I tend to mostly compose orchestral music, though progressive rock is a love of mine as well, and I write some songs in that style occasionally too. I'm studying music at community college, and hoping to transfer to a 4 year school by the end of next year to study composition and perhaps expand my horizons to jazz.

I still have yet to be in a "real" band, though I've played live with a few sort of random groups of musicians in widely varied settings. My band at the moment is pretty much Reason 3.0 and myself, I guess I could say.

I've been playing the piano since I was 10, started composing my first piece around 14, and I picked up the guitar when I was 19.  I don't have a grand piano unfortunately but I do have a yamaha keyboard that I can mess around with.  I'd like to get a weighted keyboard so I can really play, it's just not the same without velocity dynamics.

Anyway, love music, love composing.  I haven't had the time to really write any music, but during high school I wrote quite a few songs for rmxp and other game projects.  Fun stuff!

Me personally, I have some small experience with an Electric Guitar, Trombone, and Keyboard. Not much in each, but enough to make some cool sounds(cool for 7.11 seconds, at least). I can beatbox decently enough as well.

I've been playing Piano for a year or so now. I'm getting a bit better at, but I know I will reach a peak in my performance in due time. =) and of course, I compose a bit of orchestral music now and then.
