How many musicians are on RMXP?

I mean I sometimes feel that some music should be in the same genre when it is in an entirely different one.

Like all the diffrent types of Metal music...Why not just call it all METAL.

i don't like the word "only", it reminds me of my motherland

a terrible place

I would advise against the guitar. I play it, but am trying to diverge as its just overdone.

Get a theremin and learn to play 'Crazy' on it, THEN you are on a winner.

I lol'd.

I play piano! Mostly by ear. I was TRYING to play guitar but that didn't work out too well. With a little practice I could probably get back into playing drums, but overall I compose music on my computer more than any of this stuff.

I'm an Oboist, as well as a clarinetist.  I sing baritone/bass II for chorus.  I also compose.  I'm currently learning Viola.  And hoping to take piano lessons sometime in the future. =P

i've been producing music for over 5 years. self-taught, none of that pointless university bollocks. running the new 24 inch ultimate edition iMacs running Logic Studio. beside that, own a 61 key midi controller and a multi-touch screen jazzmutant lemur for controlling programs/midi/osc. also have event tr-5 monitoring speakers and a bunch of other stuff i don't feel like posting.

Very true, I recently went for college auditions for a music course, out of the 200 auditioning last year, 150 played guitar.

I play Bass, Bagpipes, Drums, Ukelele, Chanter and a list of others. Learning plute and tuba soon.

learn to shred on the hurdy gurdy and you win at life

Quite an easy feat. The Hurdy-Gurdy is a rather simple instrument, a Bouzouk or Hardangar, or maybe a Seljefyote would be a great choice though.

umm i don't know if this actaully counts me as a musician yet but i am learning the reed flute kinda, i know 2 songs. (epona's lullaby off ocorina of time and that japanese song)
