If we are stuck on two maps, spend some bloody time on the mapping. This stuff is bare, boring and generally awful.

It actually helps to download the demo before commenting on it. Smooth move there Silent :-/

What are you talking about? I did download it. The mapping was awful. The rooms were bare, with plants seemingly random in their placing. More than that each room is square and dull. There's blank for effect, and just shite.

You know there IS such thing as a square room in real life. :/

'Tis a nice, mystery type of game. There are a few eventing problems that I've encountered and some instances where the text in the message windows are missing.

> When your character leaves the room after talking to that old man with the cough, for some reason you pick up 3 storage room keys. Why? Because the events that the player comes in contact with allow him/her to do so. Solve this by putting a conditional branch in which if the player had the key, the event won't do anything.

> When you talk to the manager (the "My room get out!" message), you seem to assume that the player will be talking to him on the right side. What results is that instead of the player moving towards the door, he goes off in some other direction.

> A common one, why must some choice commands loop after you've already done an action, like break the wall to the Manager's Basement? Fixing please. :B

Another addition to this post is... ZANY QUOTES!

@The Silent Alarm: As JStreet said, there are rectangles. :D Yes there are a few mapping errors I've found, but it's not as bad as you portray it.

The mapping is pretty poor, really. I tend to agree. The rooms don't need to be as big as they are, I think that is why it looks so bare. Also, that shit green window skin is hard on the eyes. Whats with that? LOL. And, yeah, like the post above, too many grammatical errors.

I have problems with spelling and grammar, I'm going over it all again right now.
As for the window skin, I threw it together at the last second.

Rooms tend to have open space in them if the occupier cant afford ornaments.

I'll remake the window skin and look over the grammar.

The intro is a bit emty. I noticed that too, so I'll fix that up.

(your screenshot at the bottom, silent alarm, is the manager's room, so all that stuff would be there)
EDIT:
Fixed the introduction mapping, added some things to the staircase area, new window skin and fixed some grammatical errors.
