Final Fantasy VI SDK - Going Social!

That may be true, but have you ever tried using the make_png function? It takes a little while. I think using the old screenshot method for RMXP (the .dll file) would be better if I have to make a temp image. The other question about this, though, is if the image needs to be grayscale, or if Graphics can figure it out without grayscale.

I tried the airship system with mode07. It was really great, though i believe i found a few glitches when using loops. (but im not gonna loop anyway.)
Anyway, i sorta wanted to travel on ground level so i tried calling the chocobo system, but i was only able to rotate without moving. I assume the chocobo system isn't all finished?
 
Hey guys! Just a little note to let you know I'll be back on this project really soon!
I finally have my new computer, a real beast!

I've been doing some sprite ripping during this time but nothing more.

Anyyyway, been keeping an eye on this project for a while, I really like it and I only wish I at least understood RGSS so I could learn a thing or two from your scripts. I really need to do something to my battle system.
 
I have a few questions that you probably already answered before BUT... Will it be easy to disable any schools I don't really want to use such as the Esper system... which I probably will use maybe; that's just an example.

Q.If one were to want the Colluseum script you're using. Would you be able to use it without the rest of the SDK as a single script to put into another project.
A.The short answer: No, you won't be able to get things out of the SDK that easily, unless you are a programmer and/or you know what you're doing.

I can make a little system that allows you to enable/disable some systems and will bypass some variable check. It's doable but right now, it doesn't worth the effort.

However, this is an SDK, and I will include a lot of features like customization of menu commands and things like that. So if you don't want the Relic command for example, you can replace it by a custom command that brings you to your custom menu.
 
What's the status of the battle engine now? Is the damage calculation fully implemented? I know you said the animations have a way to go (pending getting rips of the spell effects), but what about the actual engine? Was that stuff I sent you useful?

Hard to believe it's been 2 1/2 years since the project started (I've heard of it not too long after information was released) and I'm still here excited as ever to see it released :)

Like I've said a lot before, thanks for doing this and good luck with the rest of the project.
