Well I have a real fail this time. And no she didn't say she'd have wild sex with me if I spammed the thread, I just really needed something to say.

At any rate; I was at one of those haunted mansion places, and at the end there was this chainsaw guy. He had a real chainsaw in his hand -- going, but I didn't know it was real, thought it was sound effects. At any rate, I said to my friend (we were watching him go berserk) "Go ahead, touch the chainsaw!" and my friend kept saying no. I playfully pushed him into the chainsaw.

a.) There was blood all over him
b.) He lost his middle finger and part of his ring finger
c.) He started screaming, cursing, and was bleeding a bit to much
d.) I had to wait for 30 minutes pressing down on his bleeding fingers, listening to him screaming in pain, while we waited for them to realize what had happened (someone else went to get an adult), and get an ambulance.

He was mad at me for about a month, then we talked it over, and we get along decently now. Never gonna do that again, almost threw up.

Your friend should be rich by now, they shouldn't have had a real chainsaw there and he has a real reason for a lawsuit.

And, in order to not spam the thread, here's a minor fail.

I was working on a commissioned piece (i.e. paid work). After roughly an hour or so and doing basically all the linework, I decided to take a break. So, as usual, I'll save the work.
As I hit the Ctrl key, Photoshop runs into an error and closes without saving. All my work is gone...

I experienced a small online fail a few days ago.

I was posting on this forum, which is centered around a Windows-only application which helps amateurs produce video games (more specifically, role-playing games), and I posted in an unnoticeable topic about what you find sexy.

What happened is, I posted a quote which usually makes women feel all mushy, and although I have never used the line, nor actually believe it or lend it any credit, I had seen it used before and it seemed to work on most women. The line was :

Women are beautiful, each and every one of them, for the simple reason that they bring life into our world.

Of course, in the message, I then proceeded to mention that should the woman you use it on be barren, then it would be an epic fail, right? Eh. I hadn't actually thought much farther than that, and, like I said, I'd just put it up because I thought it was amusing (not the line, but the way most women reacted to it).

And then bam! One of the only woman on the forums replied that she hated such a quote because : "Of course, I'm probably just bitter because I'm part of that epic fail demographic there."

What were the chances? Honestly, I felt bad for five seconds. And then I remembered that this is the Intarblagh, and that I had no way of knowing whether or not she was messing with me.

It was a fail. Not as epic as if it would've happened in real life, though. And probably not half as painful.

It's cool, hon. No harm done or anything. I wasn't even pissed at you, I was pissed at the quote, because everyone uses it :tongue:.

Enamored with a fellow member who had a curious toad-based avatar, I decided to "one-up" him by posting pictures of myself. Lo and behold, months later, it's still forcing comments out of people occasionally, sparking such colorful descriptors as "chubby" and "not hot", despite the fact that I hadn't even asked for an opinion :box:

EDIT : Woohoo! Another major fail for the forum : I used "/ me" since it's a well known IRC code, but it appears that the forum thought it was a bbcode, and thus replaced my "/ me" by a "[ m e = etheon]", which outputs : "/ me". O, the humanity!

One more of my fails. Middle school, my friends, me, with a soccer ball boredom to the max. We ended up inventing a new game called suicide soccer where instead of aiming for goals(Since we didn't have any goals) we would kick the ball into each other either hitting each other with it or blocking it with our legs and if unavoidable our hands. Those that blocked with hands would get kicked out. Stupid game invented out of boredom and middle schooler stupidity. In either case my fail was inventing the game. Reason? It involved me kicking the ball up close at my friend aiming to hit him but somehow he ended up kicking the ball back at me into my crotch followed by his foot. Yeah as you can imagine I was on the ground incapacitated and unmoving for awhile. My other friends around me ended up punching him and attacking him with the ball though XD. Still hurt like hell and still counts as a fail T.T

Anyway, here's a fail.

Walking home from school, my mom'd already left the house so I was gonna sort of run into the car when I saw it pass me. So, I see my car, run down a grassy bank, it's frozen solid so I just slide straight down like a moron on my ass, and go SLAM into the side of the car while it's still moving. Didn't hurt or anything, but when there's 60.25 thousand year 7's around (Year 7 is the lowest year of high school, about... 10-11 years old, I'm 17) it's kinda embarrasing.
