EvanCross, he posted an update 5 days ago. This game has been in the making many months now, and if u would of noticed updates in this thread have come very spread out but in big amounts, you can't expect a huge amount to be done in that small amount of time. Be patient, a demo will be released in the near future.
 
Cal, when I tested out the battlesystem, I noticed that the help window overlaps the enemy HP bars. I can move them a little below if you wanted, or make so a weapon needs to be tagged with the 'Scan' element to enable the bars. Your choice. And I'm still stuck with the box puzzle, though I haven't played in a little while.
 
EvanCross, That's okay, I'm glad that people are interested enough in this to ask me how things are coming! Saint Minor is right though on this occasion... not so much the 5 days thing, but where I said the reason I was posting that update is becasue I was hitting a very busy period of uni work [I have no hair anymore..., so that's how much] so I couldn't work on this for a while.

Mastermind, thanks for noticing but I think I have changed all the little graphical niggles in the battle system after I sent you that version. If you still haven't done the box puzzle, i can tell you over msn sometime, there's no point making walkthroughs for a game not even released yet in this thread!
 
Is there any way to know when you update this game? Some games post their updates... others just edit their original post. I'm not sure which of these you do... But, keep going.

(Oh, and don't worry about the hair... Maybe it's because you're getting more wise? Wiser? One of those... I'm sure...)
 
Evancross, sorry I didnt realise your question... yes there definately is a way of noticing when I update because I'm a little attention whore!! :)

...And countdown 1 week until University is finished for me, then I will be majorly pushing a demo release which as demos stand round here should be of a decent length... around 2 hours maybe...

I'm thinking there won't be that much more because alot of what you beta'd needs tidying up in my opinion, but there will be a new section linking the mines into the storyline... remember... I added that little designers note into the game... so you'd know where to go... I can't release it without adding that bit!

And no... no updates for the reason I just stated! :) Starting and finishing my dissertation this week, then a little rest and some drinks, then get on this!

I remember the original Celestial Requiem, looked fantastic. Still does, so get this done! :P
 
i mean really... i'm impressed... i mean there's some functions that i was gonna put in our game... well... Jeez... I hope the art makes us at least somewhat original... lol....

But i like the game... nice effects... wondering where did you get the fire from... I'm having the toughest time trying to get stuff together for Samurai Ragnarok... like animations... Tho the icon for climbing and jumping is actually brilliant... I NEVER would've thought of that... I mean some of the concepts are so simple, but i never thought of them... although i would like to... i must keep on my objectives... however, i do like how you did this game... Cell Chamber is a interesting concept that I hope gets completed... when will a demo be available...?
 
@ draken - HAven't seen you in this thread for a long time... since Celestial Requiem era actually!

@ Panda - I'm unsure of both but the Length of each episode, perhaps between the moment 3 and 4 hours.

As for your second question, that's something I am struggling with at the moment. I am trying to work something into the story that can ultimately be a full ending to the first episode. So yes ultimately I'd like the first episode to be a standalone game as with any more I may complete.

@ cheeze - Read!!! :P I'm struggling to find time but that will all change at the end of this week when my I finish university.

I'm gonna actually say a demo will be out before the end of this month which will either A) make me get it out or B) make me a liar... not sure which until then though. I'm sure your art does get you noticed too, it made me notice it! Having original art for my characters is something I should have tried to get when I was starting all this off!

CERU - That's not my fire so please be jealous of something else! I updated my first post finally to clearly show who made that. It's still in these forums, search seamless fire in resource analysis

DRAKEN - Fair enough, nope, just constructive comments are great, but motivation is helpful too! But no need for the noob continous posts! :)
