As I'm going to have to [attempt] to put this project into the shelves for a month or so, I thought I'd let everyone know what I had been up to as of late, when I found the time.
SO, developer log or whatever:
Developing the next and second full village in the game, Sierro Falls. I won't mention why or what it is all about, other than that it's a resort town for the rich in the world of Neqa'ael.

Creating the battle system - This is it pretty much done now and what I'm gonna go with, I'm happy with how it works, plus all the fairly original look to it all. I just used scripts from here, and it may just have a small edit to display facesets instead of names. The arrows are a blitz system, a substitute idea for the skill shot feature I originally intended to somehow have scripted.

Finalised the menu with mastermind and solved some graphical issues, this is the final version.

Gone back and added a good ol' spit polish to the first half of the game, adding new animations, rewriting dialogue, recreeating the cosmetic fog and ambience of the locations as well as adding in a battle tutorial - now that I have a battle system. Here's an example of the newer atmosphere. Hopefully it will benefit the people that have always said my maps will be too dark to navigate.

Now, I have a battle system functioning, it makes releasing a demo a far more likely possibility within the near future, it's just an annoyance a busy eriod has come for me at this time.
