Let us pray for an English release (or a good illegal translation).

Man the information on this is too sketchy to be reliable but it's still immensely exciting. As long as the editor doesn't completely suck it'll be infinitely easier to do action style games than XP or VX.

I'm holding off on being excited about the 360 compatibility since we don't know the extent or abilities it has, or how much custom material will work with the 360 too (perhaps no scripting features will work or some other debilitating smack-down).

On the plus side you need a subscription to the XNA creators club, which costs real money, and will keep any half-baked hacked copies from spamming that medium.

Plus, im sure their is some kind of quality control, so we wont have to deal with crap games.

Could you see this being on Wii? I cant, Nintendo would let so much crap in like they do with their non downloadable software.. no quality control.

So far it looks to be about as easy as the RPG makers.
And yes Microsoft has quality control in place for any game on their system.
No, im wetting myself to Xephyr14, id love to see it redone in the style of 8s graphics.

I think what the screenshots are trying to show is just the ability to play your projects on the XBox360, and nothing else.

I highly doubt that a 360 version of the actual editor will have it's maximise/minimise/close buttons there in the top corner.

RPG Maker is ludicrously easy as game makers go. A step up in difficulty wouldn't be such a huge thing. It might even clear the air a little by requiring that people be a little more serious about their games to cope.

However, I doubt that it will be much more difficult to use than Enterbrain's previous works. Knowing them, most of the stuff will already have been done for you.

I can't wait till this is out. I've been wanting to make a Super Mario World hack for a while. I tried it with RMXP, but this will probably work better.

Actually, there's already a program which you can use to hack the rom and create your own levels without having to rip the graphics etc.

Man, I've been thinking of ideas ever since I heard of it.

How about one that you play as this character that has to blow his enemies into different hazards to proceed? He could blow a rock into a pit so that he could cross or keep a light enemy afloat so that it can move into a slot which opens up a door?

Or how about an Okami type game using Amateratsu's powers?

Lol, how about Bleach racing? You can race different characters of bleach using shunpo!

Man, if you could mix the genres of Action rpg, side scroller, and shmps...O.O'

I'm interested in making a platformer.  I don't have ideas at the moment, though.  I'm more of a "start playing around and make up the story as you go" person.  It'd be really cool if you could have a summoning ability, like being able to summon minions to do stuff that you wouldn't normally be able to do.  It'll be interesting when they come out with more specifics.
