I just learned that the team who made Mega Man 9 and the Zero series is only made up of like 20 guys and Mega Man 9 itself was developed in a little over 6 months.  If that game's success is any indication of what you can do with action rpg maker (granted you have the will to create and the vision to direct) then distribution through XBL is sounding even better.

I thought it was called Action Game Maker?

I hope we do get this in other languages though.
I rather get it in english legally, but if we can only get it by way of cracks, then so be it.
But like was said before, since games made with it can be exported to xbox live, we should be getting it.

Economics.
RM95 was illegally translated, it did pretty well.  RM2k(3) did even better.  RMXP literally had a bit of an explosion, let's be fair, for a low grade indy game making program it's done damn good for itself.  RMVX is up there too.  Why stop now with selling to us round eyes?

If companies followed logic then Mother 3 would have been released 2 years ago and a new Kid Icarus game would have been announced.

nobody's going to get in trouble for talking pirate talk(arr). Half the people in this thread have mentioned this. Unless he posts a link to a crack or something, nobody gives a fuck.(also everyone pirates one thing or another so don't try to get all uppity and righteous so there)

fine i'll just pull a sega and create a new character called FIST THE FOX.  he'll be red like knuckles, have a rap theme song, punch people, climb and somehow magically glide which makes zero sense but it's a sonic game who cares.

man, i'm adding this to resume.  sega will probably hire me as a writer.

i believe there at least a handful of 'fist the fox's on devianTart already :\

i can think of one game i would love to try with this app if it isn't too bad, which wasn't possible on rmxp without a heap of scripting. if i have to completely rebuild the damn game engine, i might as well be using something else. this app should be great for the idea tho :}
