Your scariest/creepiest videogame moments.

My scariest video game moments are these:
LoZ Wind Waker: When the zombies come out of nowhere and scream at you, and the same thing on OoT.
Darkness(on newgrounds): The whole F***ing game is scary, but it is hard to stop playing it.
99 Rooms(on addictinggames): Every couple rooms there is a guy that pops up and scares the crap out of you.
Found Lost (newgrounds also): It isn't that scary, but it is scary when the zombie like thing pops up in the mirror and starts wobbling around, from what I remember.
Where's Waldo: Man me and my friend like playing scary games, so we were trying to bust some out of the kids at school. I was walking home with this one kid and he told me about this game called WHERES WALDO? so I went to my friends house and we googled it. Once I saw it, I was like "man I remember this book! This isn't scary at all!" but boy was I wrong. We totally had our noses up to the screen and then this demon face popped up and we both fell back in our chairs. But when we looked at the face it was this guy with blood all over and he was smiling and holding up his thumb. (when you look at scary things and they don't pop up, it doesn't really scare you.) Thank god we didn't have sound on.
RuneScape: On the quest "A souls Bane" you have to look in these black holes. We looked in one and this grim reaper face came out and it scared the crap out of us.

I have more scary things that I have seen but they were videos on youtube so I didn't put them here.

Playing STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl (best game that came out last year, in case anyone missed it-- just be sure to patch it)... one of the Bloodsuckers turned invisible on me and crept up on me in a sewer...

Here's a picture of one:

I havn't played that many horror games to be honest. Obviously moments in RE have mad eme shit myself. The only thing I can recall is some scary parts involving the flood in Halo, but that was really just tension built.

I have a couple scary game moments.

The mother brain boss fight.

Just seeing her 2nd form appearance a mosterous body and the music helped increase the scare factor. I kept fighting her until the scripted part of the fight came out. She unleased her hyper beam. damaging me quite a lot. Now that was very scary.

The whole dead sea experience.

C'mon pieces of different time periods, Time Crash. and a messed up world.

That would scare the hell out of anyone.

Since I don't play horror games that often..

TES: Oblivion in Aleyied Ruins, and some zombies popped out of wall cavities beside me, and moshed on my face. It was dark, and I was getting really into it, and nearly threw my mouse.

This is a great game part, although I don't think it was scary, so much as somber...

I was playing a mod for the game "morrowind" called the underground. There were ALOT of scary parts, here were my favorite two-

While walking through some messed up house with guts all over the wall, i turned a corner and BAM, one of those baby demon children. I hate those 6 yo kids with the big evil eyes....

There was one house in the game where I was walking in and lightning struck, then i was attacked by suger and spice, two DOLLS that crept out from evreywhere and started to attack me, then evrey time the lightening struck, I'd see some new green glowing figure attacking me.

They're scary if you're playing it...

If any of you have played the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (for Nintendo 64), you'll know what I'm talking about.

In the water temple when the Teketites are hopping above you. You can see them, but you can hear this monotonous hopping sound. All of the sudden HOLY CRAP THEY LAND ON YOU.

Scares the crap out of me every time. (Not that I play my N64 much any more XD)

I have to say my scariest video game moment would be a particular day in Counter-Strike. I ended up in this map called "blaahh" or something like that....

That place was a total nightmare...

Not only did it start with a dark, endless hallway with doors, kinda like The Matrix except all the white lights are replaced with dark shadows and the clean office walls replaced with a dilapidated mansion-like texture, but all the doors led to disturbing places, from an abandoned museum full of gory images, to  haunted forests, to a subterrainian tunnel where huge crying baby heads with their eyes bored out of their heads burst out of the walls at you.

All through the level there was some...thing, that I couldn't really make out what it was. From what I could tell, it was a green skull with three alien-like eyes and a bike helmet. It was just a sprite with no 3D model, and it would fly around throughout the level extremely fast. You never know when you're gonna see it.

So, I was quite disturbed all night, and when my mom came into my room while I was asleep, I woke up in a state of terror because I though she was the skull head for a second XD... Yeah, my mind was in a bit of a fog 'cause I was sleepy... Anyway, that map was creepy...*shudders*

The Tektites? XD
They don't scare me much, not even in the Water Temple...If you want to talk about that game, I'll say that I get nightmares from those Redeads. lol

I was actually really and I mean "so scared that I'd turn the game off" scared of the frikkin redeads when I was like 9 and then windwaker came along.... Listen to the blissfull cry of an elephant, as some bue shrimpy thing walks towards you at the pace of Steven Hawking.

Yeah the redeads are just the freakiest things ever they like, scream at you. And they're brown. That's the more scarier part.

Same here. I freaked out. Anyone know how to get that treasure chest with the key in it to get to the next part of the Forest Temple? I'm stuck.
