In SM64, in Big Boo's Haunt, when you're gathering the red coins, and you go to get the one by the piano and the piano comes alive and goes "Chomp [Bad Piano Chord]" at you and follows you.

That fucked me up for like 2 years.

[snip]

And in Banjo-Kazooie, Clanker's Caravan, I was swimming into to Clanker's area, and I saw him and I was freaked out because I thought he was gonna kill me.

Guilty as charged.

How could I forget... those boos in the basement that only attack you from behind... I think those guys made me paranoid =x

Ok that was a little scary, I'll admit. Not jump or pee your pants scary, but just creepy.

Oh, if you want that kind of scary. I had the same moment as CIPWM74 with the piano, it still scares me on this day. I'll replace the Echoes with another Echoes moment, lol. I was in Torvus, avoiding all of the enemies because...uh, I dunno...anyways while I was waiting for the door to open I turned behind me and saw a Grenchler right there. I actually jumped at that, lol.

Haha, my scariest video game moment actually turned out to be the funniest. I was playing Clocktower 3 with my friend Dustin, and as you know if you've played it, the monsters pop out of nowhere and when the guy who had the throwing scythe popped out, I thought Dustin was having a heart attack!! He was trying to scream, but nothing would come out!! Lol, he started tearing up, and I couldn't stop laughing...I was scared until I saw him, LOL!! XD

I don't really have one creepiest, I have a couple rofl.

Silent hill games are just a creepy experience altogether, which makes them great games.

and F.E.A.R, man every ladder I climbed, every corner I turned I was expecting stuff, but it still scared the shit out of even me haha.

That one moment when you climb up that duct and the kid is standing there.
Or in the beginning when the guy smacks you across the face with a wooden pole, love it.

Megaman Legends 1(I was really young at the time..)-
There are these invisible enemies on the bottom of this ruin, and they charge at you. I was scared, so I stayed up on this "cliff" if you will, way higher than they were until I mustered enough courage to run past them. I was there for a while, and then all of a sudden, BAM! One of them hit me. I don't know how it got up there, but it did.

Raiden VS Vamp

The beginning of this clip just pretty much sums up why Vamp is a highly creepy character. Granted, it doesn't seem that way until you realize a couple things.

1.) He still has a bullet in his forehead from when he got shot while standing too close to Fortune.

2.) He doesn't stand up, he rises.

3.) He's standing on (and later, swims in) water that has an extreme oxygen content. IE, it has 0 buoyancy; you fall in it, you die.

The chainsaw guys in Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Hands down.

They could go through ANYTHING! There was no hiding from them. Freaked me out like no other when I was a kid. The giant ants in that game are also pretty intimidating.

Every moment of Bioshock. It probably doesn't help that it's the first FPS I've ever actually played (and I have a fear of water), but I seem to jump at just about everything in it.

The part where a plane crashes through one of the tunnels and shoots water into it was especially frightening, and it made me stop playing a little while as it was so early in the game.

I'm a big puss when it comes to horror games though, I love horror movies (good ones, not slashers) but I can't play the games. I make other people play so I can watch and not be too scared..

I felt a lot of BioShock was incredibly frightening (on par with Bogus), near terrifying at moments.

The part in fear where Alma is running after you in a small vent, she's walking similar to a crap and monkey. Really creeped me out.

The regular, twitchy-gorey crap is always good for a quick fright, but do you remember the first Ecco the Dolphin? The glyphs and that gigantic octopus that'd kill you in one hit. Those prehistoric monsters, too, in the later levels. Those things freaked me right the f*** out as a kid :'P

That was targeted at a younger audience, but a.) it was hard as hell, and b.) it was actually pretty creepy, especially the music and the cryptic messages and the aliens.

Plus, when Ecco gets hurt he goes "AAAGGAGAGAGHH" REALLY loud, and that always made me jump if I'd gone a while without damage :'<

You know, I played Ecco. But I'm young enough that I don't even remember what it's about. I remember that there was a dolphin, and that's pretty much it. I should go out and find it.

System Shock 2.

When you first meet your real enemy on the Command deck.

That scene freaked me out, mainly because I didn't really see it coming.
