Also, there's something else I've been working on.  I used a party changer script to allow me to change leaders from my party.  Everything works Golden, except for the skills menu.  Because if only one of my party members can use Chidori, as long as I have it equipped, both can.  I've been looking for a script that forces you to select skills before using them.  I have had any luck yet :sad:

Now, I don't know if this has been already asked, but is there a way to have an active party with this script? Then again you could probably use a common event to switch characters on the map.

Actually yes you can. Simply create more pages and add a different ID Impact variable number and then the commands. :smile:

I think I have a way to get around this. It would require having a skill that all the possible party members would posses. This should be a "cure" style spell, since it makes sense to give everyone that spell anyway. In the section where you switch to the next party member, you would also insert the following script call.

Replace x with the ID of this common skill, and it should fix it. I don't have a party switching system set up yet, so I can't test it, but it should work in theory.

Ha! Yes, that's awesome, I found that out today when I was fooling around, Now I can use chidori and sword slash
 
WOW! This script is awesome!!

Now, I'm trying to decide who to love more, the creator/translator of RTAB, Cogwheel/Dervulfman, or creator/translator of this, XAS/Moghunter???

I can definitely see some Zelda games being made with this, especially since the only existing Zelda script is plagued with lag and errors!

Dang, now here I go again creating ANOTHER side project... @_@

thank me for translating the script and placing it here :P (lol). Also, make yourself a goal on each project, like, "I wanna make up to dungeon Z.O.M.G!!! on project A", then "I'll make up to dungeon O.M.F.G!!!! on project B", and so on.

You see, I successfully created a monster, and he would act like he was going to attack me.  But he could do no damage to me and I could do no damage to him.  Is there something I've missed in the scripting that has damage for enemies?  I can't seem to find it.  Thanks again for you help guys

Oh lol, I figured out where I went wrong.  I forgot to Add him to Troop as well.  *slaps forehead* 

Another wasteful post.  Remember to have at least one image of him in Troop for those who can't create enemies.  And edit him in the script for the variables
 
Thanks for supplying the link to that lead party changer, I was going to ask you what you were using. I also figured out that XAS has a dummy skill in place. Just set "$game_system.xas_skill_id" to 0, and it is no skill. You can set it to any of them (Even a sword attack), but I think the dummy skill is useful.

@Link in Pink, why is it odd that we're offering support? Is it becase we both have names starting with L? or that it is us, rather than the topic starter, that is offering support?

@StarGGundam2, don't worry, we all have those moments. I messed up the whole script, and was ticked off at my computer, until I noticed that I had no starting party (v_v), the HUD didn't like that.

P.S. StarGGundam2, would you mind providing me with the party changing script implemented? I messed up somewhere, but you seem to have gotten it all working.

The only Bug I've been having is that you can remove your whole party thus causing a huge crash.  Just as long as you don't exit the window without anyone in your main party it will be fine.  I've been trying to figure out how to fix this bug. So far All I've been able to do is gray it out when you have a party of three or less

I added this little bit in Scene_Menu

P.S. Almost have the party system fully integrated! Just need to implement the ability to switch between party members using buttons on the map.
 
Wow, nice job integrating that party switcher! I wonder if we could make it work with f0tz!'s Pixelmovement script o_O (that'd be difficult, but awesome.)
 
I've got it working, but to get the hud to update, I resorted to calling a new map scene. The only defect with this is that the player stops for half a second before continuing. Also, I'm not sure how to make it switch to the next character when the lead actor dies, and call game over if all actors are dead. And my final issue is finding a caterpillar script that is compatible, I've tried all of them that I could find (one of them I found would work perfectly, but they all hate XAS). Any ideas on how to get past some of these problems?

BTW, is f0tz!'s Pixelmovement script the one where you can use images for pasibilty? If so that would make XAS whoop like heck, but it would probably require a huge rewrite.

Did anyone figure out how to make items recover in percentage?  I've been trying to do it, and it doesn't want to accept that method for some reason. You are required to have  a specific HP or SP ammount for recovery items

I think I seen some where in the script where it calls gameover when the character dies.. If you change it to false and rewrite it to bring up the menu, I guess that might work..  But the main problem I had with mine was you switch out all the characters and the game crashes when you leave the menu
