Hey there....

Just wanted to let you know i love your graphics and am intrigued by the story....

Don't know much about rmxp games, but i'd love to play your demo if you would allow me....

Thanks

Yay, there is more character information :D
Still not as much as other people write but better than "Name, Age, Weapon" as I saw sometimes ^^
Lol, I feel I already made it too much for most people to read it.

Against random encounters =)
In your video at 2:20 - 2:30. First I thought the wilf on the right was a bush, When I saw the ! (btw, I hope there are Metal Gear sounds for that xD) I realized that the bush was moving. But then just a step up saved you from the battle. I guess you can do that everytime at that place so I'd prefer some randomness. For example, the enemies could not always have a speed of 3 but a random speed of 3 or 4. Something like that.
They already move at speed 4. =p Speed 3 would be too easy to escape from.

I saw it in the first post. I didnt found it in the video, cause I skipped some battles. Oh well, I will search now... No, didnt found it^^
But why does Wulf Spit heal you? Ewww.
What do you mean with particles? A particle function in Photoshop? oô

Oh, and what I forgot to say last time: Hope you got a good mouse system (you play it with the mouse in the video, arent you?)
Oh, no it's not in the video, just in the game's demo.
Wulf Spit has curing powars. :3 You should see what you can do with dragonfly droppings.
Yea, a particle system.

Yea, the mouse system is really good. I managed to eliminate the lag for 95%. I still need to fix that Player Touch events are triggered when you go over them, and that conditional branches asking for the up/down/right/left key is pressed also trigger when the player moves the character up/down/right/left using the mouse key

I'll PM you a beta. :D

Hey Twin Matrix I noticed your in need of a mapper.
I haven't gotten around to doing much in rmxp as I have been busy making my own graphics and am starting up an activity over at another forum.
I am a relatively decent mapper (I'm not one to be conceited as I am sure there ae better) and I'm highly skilled at eventing.
I absolutely adore your graphics (did that sound gay?) and I wouldn't mind taking a closer look at them so I will map and event for you for free.
I'm already paying attention to your stemixing academy (talking of which are you going to update that or start a new as I'm loving it so far) and wouldn't mind testing how hese graphics truely flow.

Also could I request to Beta test ecause yet again for the same reason (I love my eye candy!) thought he story is also very appealing even if it does sound like an askew version of Wizard of Oz.

PS if you need some mapping examples I could wip some up in a couple of minutes if you like, eventing examples may take a tad longer.

Oh, no it's not in the video, just in the game's demo.
Oh. I dont hae the demo^^
But I'd love to have one, if I dont have to be a beta tester :D
Lol, I feel I already made it too much for most people to read it.
There can't be enough text (okay, Harry Potter 5 was a bit heavy xD) if you write it interesting.
Wulf Spit has curing powars. :3
Really? Kay, I will test it. Just get my gun and go into the forest.

Okay... I dont understand the second problem. But I could help you if you describe it better. I am bored and also some kind of scriptoholic x_x

About the particles... I see what I can find^^
Want to do images like that as well :3

Oh, there can be very easily in topics in this forum. : P A load of topics here have too much text.

Sorry. ;-; You'll have to wait for the public one.

XD Only in the dreamworld, of course.

Well, there is a Conditional Branch for pressing an arrow key, right? I want this to return true if the player is moving in the direction of that arrow because of the mouse system. E.g. I click with the mouse at the top of the screen and player moves up over an event that checks for the up-arrow-key being pressed. I want it to return true, because if it weren't for the mouse system, the player would have to be holding the up key to move the character up. This is essential for puzzles, etc.

Why dont u just ask, which direction the player is facing? :O

Cant find it. And google just gives me two tutorials q.q
Help me xD

Well for one I already used the arrow-key-command in the entire game. Two, it's not such a difficult fix I believe/hope. And three, if I did that then the player would automatically move up ladders and such when the player is just walking by them or wants to stand still in front of them. Xd

Ah, well, it's not an universal/public thing. It's a WoaR-exclusive method that I made. :P Sorry.

Then... uhm. There is a solution but I am too lazy to think about it.

Oh noes. You're mean.

Hey Twin I sent you a pm, then a second one that fixed my error. -_-

@Bubble-Toes- you will need to inform if this one works. If not I will upload the dil file onto your computer my love!
^_^

:3

Hey, Twin, I really can't see anything wrong with that cover-art. I personally think it's fine, although you could have put the rating on the bottom left to make it a little more professional, but no big deal. Oh, and sorry for dumping on ya earlier, I was just really pissed off, and, you know, I kinda have a hard time controling my anger. :haha: Also, I kind of found a mapping error, but not too big. The map with the house on the cliff is kind of hanging off the cliff; just a little though. Might wanna make the house completely on the cliff. And I see you did have a demo out all along, so you think you can PM me one so I can try it out? I'm good at finding mistakes with RMXP games, but I also judge very easily.

Then... uhm. There is a solution but I am too lazy to think about it.
xD

@ultima: I PMed you back. ^^ What's up with you and Bubble-Toes? XD

@Jiki: Pissed off because? o.O And what house hanging off a cliff? Do you mean the large round gate? If so, that's intentional to stop people from moving past it too easily.
I'll be happy to PM you the beta. ^^
By rating for the cover art, do you mean an age rating? That's unnecessary, as it has to be a family-friendly game. And that's only part of the cover art that I just threw together as a teaser.~

I think the only thing the the cover art could use was more...things. It's excellent as always, though it seems a little empty. I don't know if that's what you were going for, though.

I think the cover art is beautiful and like everyone else the only thing I think it needs is a classification and a company logo if you have one. Just so it looks less like art and an actual cover.
Maybe even a quote.

Also me and Bubble-Toes are dating in real life. ^_^
Might pop a pic over at the photo thread.

Also this tileset is a fair distance out of my typical comfort zone, which is good because I can learn new elements to mapping.
Good thing I'm good with cliff work. :3

ps can I get a copy of the beta test.:P

Well, it's cover art, and only a part of it. :3 Not the actual cover.

Cute that you're dating. ^^

Can't wait to see ze map~ : D

Sure, you can get a copy. I'll PM you one right now.

Just thought i'd drop in and say thanks for the PM, am downloading now....

That's right, Ultimaodin and I are dating in real life, 7 months today, lol! :P

Anyways thanks, and i'll let you know if i liked it, doubt that i won't though, the graphics are so beautiful....
