What games are you currently playing?

i hear dark cloud 2 is good.. i couldnt get into the first one but anways you shouldnt have a problem finding a used or new copy for under 20bucks

I've never played any Tale games, but lately I've been developing more of a tolerance for jrpgs. Where should I start?

definitely tales of destiny. friggin awesome game. honestly, i think that's the first rpg i played where i actually paid attention to the story (though, don't ask me to remember now)

i don't know about the other tales games, but definitely pick that one up. the combat is so fun imo

playing Demons souls,

I think I fucked up my character (for now atleast..) because I upgradeded all my stats I now have a weak character which needs helluva lot of souls to gain stats -.- 'Shoudl I start over or just endure my low stats for a while?)

The bosses seem to start posing a threat, Armor spider killed me once and Flame lurker kicked my ass 4 times (stupid going frenzy when hp is low..). Sadly the next boss (dragon god) was... Can you even call that a fight?

I want some more bosses as hard as flame lurker

I upgraded all my stats (which ends in have below average strenght and magic power), it started well but in the flamelurker fight I really started to notice that it wasn't a good idea.

why do almost all ds games have tremendously bad, average, or nonexistent/short intros and beginnings? the only ones that don't are locke's quest, some square games, and sands of destruction.

you should start over and play as a Royal... and spam your stats up on STR!

Yeah seriously, only upgrade 1 or 2 stats, not everything.

I actually prefer melee combat, so my first character was a Barbarian since they start with 15 VIT and STR, and then just kept bumping STR up, and every so often add some to VIT, seriously, it REALLY helped.

Or if you wanna' go magic, just be a Magician, since they start with 15 INT and MAG, and follow the same tactic, bump everthing up into MAG, and every so often, add some to INT.

Never make a hybrid since you'd just be wasting points...

BTW flamelurker is really easy. When you enter the boss place, just go left and trap the boss behind those bones and spam arrows/soulray

I'm just gonna beat the game using this one, Idon't wann start over just yet (not sure If i want to be meelee or a mage, both are really fun).

Also I'm not sure if a mage is better to start then a royal, a royale starts with a WAY better skill, Fragrant ring, and the weapon what gives a 20% mp bonus..

mhh but the mage has better base stats and a stronger catalist.. (and after 1-1 you can buy soul arrow and fragrant ring starts to loose its use..)
