ff7 was really good while you were in midgar but it began to dissolve past that point. by the halfway point of the second disc it basically seemed to give up

yeah in midgar it was p cool and very different. none of the cliche fantasy element-laden stuff with "go to x on world map" shiz. it was "hey there's an evil corporation makin life shitty and a brothel for some reason yeah!!! until you left and then :x oops it's every jrpg ever made

except that one place that was all games and las vegas shit was enjoyable too

but two cool places and approx. ~3 hours of good gameplay weighed against 50 does not a good rpg make

I got borderlands little over a week ago, and Ive had a lot of fun with it.

I got assassins creed 2 yesterday and that game fucking sucks. I really regret buying it.

I might try 2 though! I watched my friend play it and it looks better than the first, not as repetitive as the original.

but yeah, currently playing SF3 like crazy and I just got RE5 as a christmas gift from a friend (my pc can barely handle it though)
