Awesome Bro

I've been playing through my backlog of games in the little free time I've had over the last month, kinda' surprised that I've managed to finish four games and platinum three of them, although one of them was The Walking Dead Season One, you get the platinum trophy just for finishing it, lol...

Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and planning on getting the platinum trophy on this too, then I'm gonna' move onto a game with a completely different style of gameplay, since too much of one thing puts me off playing after a while... I was originally gonna' play this straight after Shadow of Mordor (I've arranged the games on my shelf in order of playing them), but after realising that it had pretty much exactly the same style of gameplay, I decided to throw The Walking Dead Season One inbetween them to mix it up a tad, and after playing that, I downloaded Table Top Racing: World Tour which is this month's Playstation Plus game, so I got a couple of different genres in to mix it up a tad...

Starting from Tuesday though, I'm gonna' be playing a fuck ton of Overwatch in my free time.

Finished FFXI: Chains of Promathia missions. I was happy just to defeat the Original release story, but completing 2 expansions was much more fulfilling. I always regretted not accomplishing more. Since Shantotto and Prishe where in Dissidia, I at least know who they are now.

I guess I should get back to finishing Compile Heart's Record of Agarest War now *Shudder*

Playing Event Horizon for my tablet. Billions of planets to explore and millions of Star systems. Level cap ruined it, so I stop playing right after this post.

Just gotta put a cap on everything. So sad. If there's infinite stages, there should be no level cap for enemies and the player. Game was taking over my life anyway...

Currently playing Halo 5. The Warzone mode is pretty fun. I think I like the Xbox one (720). Halo 5 seems better than that call of duty crap. Looking forward to the Xbox Scorpio and Halo wars 2.

Picked up a few things from this year's Steam sale that I've meant to play/replay/complete for a good while.

Bioshock Collection
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Dishonored
South Park: Stick of Truth

Besides those, still working on a Total Warhammer campaign with a buddy. Still loving it.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. it's dorky and kind of goofy but it's grown on me a lot. also I'm really enjoying the combat system. this is one of the first games in a long time where I can play more than an hour or 2 a day without getting bored/tired. there's just a few little things (but end up being a bigger deal) that I wished they did differently. One is being able to change our the main character, especially cause the game encourages you to switch on the fly to find the best weakness. Other thing is I wish I could just go to the Bloom Palace (fusion center) without going to Fortuna Entertainment first.

Other than that it's been great. Holy hell it's in Japanese though.

Played all sorts of games with my Niece and Nephew.
Although games like Sly Cooper, they just kinda ran around in circles. They're 5, so their small hands don't have the coordination or dexterity to move the character, the camera, AND reach the shoulder buttons to do stuff.
I eventually gave them my old gameboy and they played Kirby's Dreamland and Kirby's Star Stacker.

They actually did alright playing the tutorial level of Mighty No. 9.
But again, the dash is assigned to a shoulder button. So they couldn't maneuver past a big hole that needed a run-jump mid-air long dash.

I had a dream I was playing Pokemon Go.
So tried downloading it on my tablet this morning. I don't have GPS, just a wifi location. It can't do the VR camera thing 'cause it can't find the orientation.

But just standing still I've made it to Level3 in an hour.
Charmander, 3 Zubats, Nidoran, Venonat, and Oddish.

So I just chuck pokeballs at whatever? You don't actually battle?

Welp. I got a medal for 30 captured pokemon. 13 different types. Used my 2 free incense because I'm not planning on playing long term. I almost have enough candy to evolve Zubat. But I'm almost out of pokeballs. Like I said, I'm standing still on wifi with no GPS, in a rural area to boot. So this adventure is about over.

Update: Got to level 5. Came with another incense and some pokeballs but didn't help much. Wasted my last bunch on a Clefairy|CP??? that wouldn't stay captured.
Evolved Pidgy and Zubat. So I'm at 16 types seen and captured. 2 eevees. I didn't feel like splicing the screenshots together, so it looks like I have 4.

I have to wonder what other people's day 1 was like. To move around with GPS and find pokestops to restock balls. Or is it limited on how many balls you get? Maybe it's not much difference since they want you to buy coins and shop.

I FINALLY completed Assassin's Creed Syndicate a couple of hours ago after like three months... it wasn't hard or anything, I've just had very little time to play anything lately (And it seems to be staying that way for the foreseeable future) and I've spent most of that time playing Overwatch over my backlog... oh well, at least it's another game done.

Playing Master of Orion 3. Kinda sucks, but the carrier/fighter mechanics are pretty good. A few Ai mods made the game about 80% better. Still pure crap compared to part 2.

On PS4 I've been playing Metro 2033 Redux... never played the original so I don't know how much has changed, aside from "improved" stealth mechanics and AI, and they've removed the ability to equip suits or something... the stealth mechanics are god awful as they are now anyway, I can walk almost point blank up to someone in the dark, and they won't know I'm there unless I attack them... maybe I'm playing as a ghost?!

On PC I'm still playing the fuck out of Overwatch.

I've been playing a shit load of this too. Pretty much any time I'm not working, I'm playing Overwatch.
I've come to these conclusions:
Torbjorns turrets need a nerf big time, same as with Symetras. Loot Boxes are trash. For my past 2 loot boxes I've been 5 gold away from an ultimate skin. But nooooo the game doesn't give me the 5 gold, instead it gives me seasonal costumes
Would be good if I used any of the characters I've got skins for. Same with fucking player icons. I've got icons for widdowmaker and Roadhog. I DON'T EVEN USE THESE CHARACTERS.

Still, the system is rigged to keep you playing, so I guess from blizzards standpoint, it's working. It's a fun and addictive game.

But I actually WANT the new skins... fuck all the other shit lol, don't give a fuck about sprays or icons, and I've got enough gold to buy like six more legendary skins, but I've already got the ones I want anyway.

I played Bejeweled Stars on my tablet just to research those puzzle matching games. I really wanted to try Puzzle and Dragons but it would crash before I get to the title screen.

I've played Bejewel in the past when it was a basic match 3 game.
The sfxs are all very pleasant and relaxing. All the drops, clinks, hums and buzzs. But when you complete a stage you get this choir of Meows. It was amusing at first until I was done playing and it was stuck in my head all night.
Meeeow. Me. ow. Meeeow. Me. ow
Meow meow, meow meow, meow meow meow meow.

I've been running a British campaign on Europa Universalis 3. I never bothered getting the EU4 for some reason; I tend to drift in and out of playing EU3 and I guess I don't think the investment in EU4 + DLC is worth it right now. I'll have to wait and see if it gets dropped in price significantly during a Steam sale or something.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure they're games for masochists so yeah... I probably shouldn't play at all xD

I think I got these collectible type games figured out for smart devices.
Grand sphere, monster strike, and a few others. They all play the same pretty much. You collect characters that you can use in battle. Evolve them. wait an hour or 2 for points to recharge to actually play.

The only appeal I see in it is wondering what you'll get or what a character evols to. But I can look it up on a wiki.
Edit: idk. Its digital. Its not like a real toy capsule machine with physical collectables . speaking of which, how did those business's even create a desire to collect their crap? I get existing characters from movies and shows because there is already a connection. But a random character with nothing attached to it? This one has a skull motif. This one has a guitar. Cool I guess but why would I want it? Beanie babies implied limited availability so people bought them hoping they would be worth something.
