I had a self-party after beating FF4! I could never win, but when I did! Oh YES!!

It's kind of like in Lunar:SSSC - I could never beat one of the bosses. After my bros, me, and my best friend at the time finally got him - we celebrated. ^^

I love that stuff!

I played Lunar on emulator, so I could use the massive fps boost and complete/grind/do stuff really fast. Didn't feel like a chore.
It was a great game but it was... IDK. Incomplete. Lots of minor extras, but design wise the extras were really superfluous and imbalanced (although the sets were rather fun). I guess I wanted a bit extra in terms of extras, cause the game was as good/entertaining as it was. A compliment, I guess, but I'm spoiled cause FF9, brave fencer musashi, megaman legends, and legend of dragoon were basically my first couple RPG defining games, and they all had optional extras out the ass (as well as being sorta challenging but p easily).

Endless Space
I am trying it again. I decided to use the Horatio and am trying to elope all the galaxy within my influence
I read some guides and am doing better than last time I tried it
we'll see how it goes

I just tried out Ace of Spades, since there's a free weekend on Steam right now. Hahaha man am I glad I never bought this game, it's absolutely horrible. I spent the entire match getting spawnkilled by snipers. Even when you manage to get away from the spawn, it's pretty terrible. You're apparently supposed to build defensive structures by placing blocks (minecraft like) but instead people just one-hit kill eachother over and over again.
Not worth a single penny.

I finally found the scene I was missing in FFX-2. I've replayed it a least 5 times and been stuck at 99% completion. Turns out I had to visit this one location after completing these 2 missions but before finishing the last mission for that chapter. It's kinda important to the story too, so I don't know why it was made optional and there's nothing directing you to go there either.
So I got the story at 100% and the sphere I need open the Den of Woe sidequest. Hopefully I can unlock the Mascot dressphere then I'll have done everything there is to do and I can finally close the book on this game.

Dangit, I missed a sphere in chapter 3. Got to start all over again.

Bought Organ Trail for my Nexus 7 yesterday and LOVED IT.

It's also on Steam!

If you played the 8-bit (or monochrome) version of Oregon Trail way back in the early 90's/late 80's, ... This is that. Except in post-apocalyptic times! With a station wagon instead of a covered wagon!

Awesome Bro

That reminds me, I never did finish Tales of Graces f, got about a quarter way through, and put it down for another game, said I'll get back to it, and never did... and talking of Tales, I also have Tales of the Abyss on 3DS and jesus christ it's so boring, I played the first half hour and was like nope, not even gonna' give it a chance to redeem itself. As for other JRPG's, I've got Person 3 on the go on my Vita, about half way through it, got Persona 4 Golden unopened, and I'm about halfway through Ni no Kuni.

So yeah, got a few JRPG's I can be playing, but there is Tales of Xillia later this year, and then oh my lord Final Fantasy X HD!

Did you guys see the screenshot comparisons? It's not just an upscaling job, they've actually redone EVERY texture, and increased the polygon count of the characters and enemies! It looks gorgeous! And even the CGI cutscenes have been redone as well, and they look amazing now! And if you weren't aware, it also comes with X-2 as well... wasn't a huge fan, but it had a pretty great battle system and a lot of content.

I don't like TotA that much either Jay-Jay. I mainly play for Star's sake. I did like the others. :D

I saw the screenshots of Final Fantasy X HD. I was like... "I DON'T WANNA SEE SEYMOUR IN HD!" Yeah, I had a nightmare involving Seymour. UGH.

I also agree with you about FFX-2! The battle system was pretty fun. :D

This bugs the hell out of me too:

The room is WAY too light in the HD version, they need to darken the walls and stuff, it's as if there's no shadows whatsoever... but I'll admit the textures are so much better!

Honestly, of all Final Fantasys, they should make HD for those before FF8. Redoing graphics for games that already have high polygon count is just silly.

I got Organ Trail on Steam. Saw Oregon Trail in Abandonia and didn't realise that's what Organ Trail is based on. Now I want to try out Oregon Trail too.

Organ Trail is awesome btw.

Steam buddy gifted me Don't Starve, so I toyed around with that for a while. First impressions say it's really unforgiving and immersive...come nighttime after I was low on resources, I was freaking out. Die and you're dead for good, so everything gets pretty intense if you get in a tight spot, especially late game. Rather, you might punch your screen.

Also played Warframe for a few hours. For a co-op action F2P, it's not bad by any standard. Not much to offer, but it's worth your time, I think.

Also Trouble in Terrorist Town is the most douchey fun I've had in a long time. I have a policy of not lying in most situations, but that doesn't mean I'm not really good at it.
