Final fantasy diemsnions... or w/e its called. some old school 2d ff game for the celly phones. its not bad... only game i really gotten to play.... work work work -.-

So I also brought FF VI
I like it so far. Seems pretty interesting.
While I was in the shop I noticed a psp game there for 2.99 so I picked it up cause it looked pretty cool.
It's called Wipeout Pure and it's one of those F-Zero styled racing games. I love those sorta games so for 2.99 it was worth it. It's a lot slower paced than F-Zero and some levels can see you slamming into wall after wall, which drops your speed to like... Zero...
All in all it is a good game and the graphics aren't bad either. My PSP continues to surprise me!

I'll be playing more FFVI When I have the chance to actually sit down and let myself get absorbed.

You should get WipEout HD for the PS3 off PSN, it still looks gorgeous and is MUCH faster paced, to be honest, Pure was kinda crap... my favourites are HD and the original on the PSOne

I will most likely get it next wednesday.
Can you play online?
If so. I challenge you! *Duel Face*

I'm playing the original Mass Effect

Not as WOW as everyone makes it out to be to be honest, dont get me wrong its a fucking awesome game. But it doesn't totally over shadow 2 or 3 like every says. Story feels forced compared to 2/3

gameplay and looting is better though

One of my favorite games of all time is ME1. ME2 was okay, but the mechanics were so simplified it kind of shit on ME1, gameplay-wise. ME3 was more of the same, except with the bonus of shitting in your heart about the story. Which it wouldn't have if you weren't a fan of the series all along, hoping and looking forward to these huge, branching storylines, and big differences in the endings.

I can see why ME1 may not seem as impressive to a newcomer to the series, but when it released in '07 it was fucking revolutionary in a lot of ways.

This was during the BioWare hey-day, before they were bought & gutted by EA. Major "Western" RPGs were still incredibly rare (only really preceded by Bethesda or BioWare's other entries like KOTOR), and the bonus of this series was that it was all entirely new content. New lore, races, etc. No LucasArts stuff, no Tolkien stuff. Never-before seen, totally original.

And if you paid any attention to the hype drummed up about the sequels before they were made -- the creators promising HUGE differences between storylines and the promise of even more races, planets, exploration ... While you were playing it, you were doing so with the idea that you were embarking on a very unique "thing" and it was easy to get absorbed (unfortunately, EA saw to snuffing all of that out when BioWare was bought mid-production on ME2).

For all that anyway, it was very special.

I caved and picked up the compilation of The Walking Dead. I've only just finished the first episode and I'm a little ways into number two, but I can understand the hype now; this shit's intense.

Also dicked around with ARMA for a few hours. Knew it was a milsim and whatnot, but I'd never really tried one before. Not really my cup of tea -- the AI bots have telescope eyes and will pop you at 550 yards with a non-scoped AK74. I can barely get a bead on a target at 100 yards looking through iron sights. Sniping is really satisfying, though, if you're a gun nerd like myself, and going into a MP zombies server with a couple of friends and killing whoever you come across is pretty fun, even if it makes me a dick.

I never said the game wasn't good, but yeah I can see it being a lot better if you experienced the hype and stuff. I only recently got a chance to play it because of PS3.

Final level and even the credits where pretty sweet. But I just feel the story feels forced, the side quests repetitive and the voice acting just isn't nearly as good as the other titles. (Especially Liara)

Currently HOOKED on Dust 514. It's a game that works better if you know others who play it I think, since it's fun coming up with strategies with people you know.

Dishonored

Wow, just wow. Game feels and plays like bioshock (only with stealth mechanics) and has gorgeous graphics/sound/everything. Story is pretty decent so far too (though I've only just started the fourth mission).

AWESOME world, while pretty compact I love walking around in it, just doing useless shit and eardropping on everyone, doing random stuff. Lots of detail went into this game. If this game stays as much fan as its now its obviously the best 2012 game for me.

Nothing beats stopping time right before they shoot a bullet at your head, possessing the shooter and placing him in front of his own shot, then leaving his body and starting time again. Bye bye gunslinger!

Really? I tried playing Dishonored and found it boring as fuck, to the point that I couldn't continue and then uninstalled it from my computer... so boring.

Strange, I honestly can't imagine why anyone wouldn't like this game. So far its the best game for me I played since Bioshock back in 2009

*raises hand*

I know, I know!

People would not like this game because of the genre!

I'm right aren't I!?

(I know I don't like stealth-like games, and would rather enter a place "guns blazing")

I guess it's true - people like different things. :D
