How did I know you were going to rage about ToG: F. XD

I wouldn't say it was amazing, but I still enjoyed the game. :D

The plot is weak (I think it is with a lot of Tales games, but I like their characters and game-play the best anyway).

By the way, I like your avatar. It's kind of cute. ^__^

haha. sorry I just couldnt resist. I liked the gameplay....but the story really threw me through a ton of loops. I think the final boss was the worst arc Id ever done in an rpg since Legaia 2. and thanks :3 i wish the avatar was real :(

So are Jak and Daxter, the trailers for both of them looked really cool lol. They also talked about and/or showed a new level off too (Although I've not seen it, I don't know if there's a video anywhere) that mixes Uncharted and Starhawk/Warhawk (I forgot which one), sounds interesting...

I wonder who else they'll be adding to the game, I still want to see Crash and Snake make an appearence, I'd say Ratchet and Clank too, but they're a little too similar to Jak and Daxter in terms of how they'd play... but still, it'd be nice to see those two too. Maybe Dante could be in it too, I know he's not first/second party, but he was pretty iconic in the PS2 era...

And oh god they have to add a Heavy Rain inspired level where Ethan runs around in the background shouting JASON! and SHAUN! that would be epic as fuck!

Yeah... it's gonna' be fun lol. Also Mega I already preordered it a few weeks back since I know it's gonna' be great anyway!

In terms of the now... I bought The Amazing Spiderman yesterday, it won't be here until tomorrow though, I've heard so many good things about it, and I love that freeroam is back, even if the swinging is fail as fuck since you swing from the heavens (You can still swing around even when you're HIGHER than all the buildings around you... how?! They need to make a game with the Spiderman 2 swinging!) And as for what game(s) I'm playing... I recently got back into Mortal Kombat, trying to perfect my combos with Kung Lao and Kano again (I could do 60%+ combos with both of them without using an x-ray... but the other player can get out of it with a breaker, so I need to start the combo before they get 2 bars) and I've got so many games unfinished, such as Disgaea 4, Final Fantasy XIII-2 (I'm actually lost as to where I need to go here, every warp gate I've been to, nothing happens and I went on the other day, ran around for 2 hours, had NO clue... I might need to start over from scratch, I'm not too far through it anyway so it won't matter), Lego Batman 2, Skate 3 (Not bothered about this since there's no proper story, just do a fuckton of tricks for people, I can come back to this every so often without needing to know anything), and lots of others that I forgot about...

Word on the street is that Crash is already in :0

Sure, Sony never owned the rights to Crash, but Activision is desperately looking for any way to make Crash relevant *and* successful again. This would be the best way.

If he's not in with Gex, I'm not buying D:<

It looks a little... empty somehow, although I have faith that the full release will be tons better, but it's just showing you both Cole and Jak and Daxter together along with Sly and Big Daddy, on the PaRappa stage

---

Oh, I only watched the first couple of minutes of it, turns out it switches levels too, lol.

as far as PAS goes, my buddy is a manager or so for GameStop at one of the larger stores in the distribution center and he played it. he said it was ok but not even close to being as good as Smash Bros and that its going to need a lot of polishing by the time it hits US shores. he said it played wierd.

Well either way I reckon that by the time it's finished it'll play great, just have to wait and see really...

Anyways, The Amazing Spiderman came today, and I've put in around 6 hours so far, I'm 31% through the story apparently and I've picked up around 550 of the comic books (There's 700 of them, it's actually VERY easy to find them), but I doubt I'll be getting all the other collectibles that are inside Oscorp labs and stuff, that'd just take too much effort, the only reason I got all these comic books is because you actually unlock some to read from the Extras menu, there's only 10 of them, but they're still fun to read if you haven't read them before (I've got 4 of them on my computer in .pdf format anyway, but whatever). The free roam isn't too bad actually, I mean, it sucks that you can swing from the heavens (Although there are varying heights and in SOME areas you can't swing, but it's rare to find that you can't swing...) and you can web rush ANYWHERE (You can aim straight up and web rush, not sure how that works either... but it does help for getting around quicker), but web rush in general is pretty fun to do, since it gets you in a straight line quicker and you do all sorts of acrobatic shit as you're going too. The fighting really does feel EXACTLY like the Arkham games, it's simple but looks cool as you're doing it, it doesn't quite flow as smooth as the Arkham combat though, but whatever, I spend more time just swinging around anyway than fighting anything.

It's actually pretty fun to play, even if the swinging isn't what we wanted (Spiderman 2 swinging was AMAZING!), not sure if it's worth the full £40 that I paid though, but I guess if it can keep me occupied for 10-15 hours I can't complain at all (The platinum apparently takes 20 to get, and it's a very EASY one... if I decide to collect all the Oscorp stuff, but then I'm also playing on hero mode (Normal) instead of super hero (Hard) so I'd have to replay it again to get that trophy... /effort fuck that)

Playing Borderlands with a friend, because it was on sale in the Steam Summer sales.
€ 7,50 for the full game + all the dlc, sounds like a good deal to me.

It's still the same as I remember (I had it on the 360 when it first came out), fun when playing with friends but boring as hell if you try to play singleplayer~

yeah idg why anyone would play it singleplayer ... same with l4d and diablo 3 and dynasty warriors and any fighting game p much

its like, yeah, there's a campaign mode, and you technically CAN play it single player, but the whole dynamic of the game is centered & focused entirely on playing with other people so why

I remember I started Borderlands singleplayer when I first got it, played it for like 30 minutes and was like NOPE I NEED A SECOND PLAYER, luckily my brother was interested so we did co-op through the entire game and played even longer for more gear and PvP and stuff, it was pretty cool because we both played as soldiers, and having two turret specced soldiers play together is pretty much the equivalent of bombing Hiroshima with TWO bombs in terms of how overpowered you are. I can't wait for the second actually, I'll be getting it on the PS3 again though for my first playthrough, and then wait for a Steam sale before doing it again on the PC (I did the same thing with the first Borderlands)

Also, in my house, I can never find a second person to play fighting games with me, especially Mortal Kombat, because everyone seems to rage quit whenever I win (I win like 99.99% of the time), I've only ever lost two fights on Mortal Kombat against my brother, and it was on Test Your Luck anyway... it's a pretty cool game mode except when it decides to rape you with a 4ft wide dildo and throw all the debuffs and stuff on you...

It's gonna' be so fun playing it with my brother, he's a huge fan of the series too, so I'm gonna' show him it when he gets in from work :D

Is it a better game than Stronghold 3?
That's the first and only Stronghold game I've ever played, and boy, that was a huuuugeeee waste of money.

Stronghold 1 is, IMO, the only Stronghold. It is still one of my most favorite games of all time -- probably my 3rd most favorite RTS of all time.

Of course, a good bit of my love for it is nestled in nostalgia, since it's like 11 years old, but I'd be skeptical of anyone (that likes RTS's) who didn't get enjoyment out of it. I'm replaying it, and yeah, there are some things about it that are dated (the gfx, the interface), but it's still damn fun & amusing to play.
What's great about it is that it's solid in both military AND economic methods of strategy. There's a campaign for either style of gameplay, and an extremely robust level editor to boot.

There are merits to playing "good" or "evil" (and oh, the evil things you can do to your people are so very satisfying in a strange way), and the military approach is more defensive, so you have to use a lot more strategy than the simple "make as many units as you can to counter the enemy" style of RTS that, say, Age of Empires offers.

2 & 3 ... Ugh, god damn, such hugely massive disappointments.
They could have just released the same game over again with some graphics/interface overhauls, and it could have been a major hit.
Instead, they fucked 'em 10 ways to Sunday :((((((

Hmm I might check it out then.
Meanwhile, I'm also playing Shogun 2 Total war, I'm doing a Co-Op Campaign with a friend.
God I love the total war series :>

Just finished The Amazing Spiderman,

It took me just under 11 hours (10h44m) to finish the game on normal AND get all 700 comic book pages (Like a boss!), there's still some trophies I can get by mopping up doing all the side missions that are left, such as taking the infected people to the hospital, the car chases, races, secret labs and such, but I'll come back to them later I think...

The game was short, the story was pretty meh (Even though it's a sequel to the film, it won't affect what happens in The Amazing Spiderman 2 at all...), the inside sections were pretty boring, but the combat wasn't too bad, and the free roam is still REALLY fun, just swinging around not doing much, lol...

I'll probably spend another 2-3 hours or so doing the side missions sometime later, and redo the first chapter of the game (There's a chapter select so you can't miss any trophies, except difficulty ones ofcourse) to kill the boss without touching the floor for a nice silver trophy, it's actually VERY easy to do, I just pressed the wrong button to start swinging again (I pressed R1, which is web rush, instead of R2 (Swing button) which made me zip straight to the floor because I was really high up and facing downwards), so yeah it's easy enough anyway. I'll not be getting the platinum though, simply because I can't be arsed with a second playthrough completely (On a harder difficulty) and you have to take a photo of every enemy type on the game, no thanks. But everything else I'll be able to get, so I'll only be missing a few trophies at the end of it all.

I'm not sure what game to play next lol...
