How sure are you about that? Not that I'm doubting it, it'd be... awkward, bringing back the old voice actor, or in my opinion it would anyway, since Eric has done Cole more times anyways (Fesitval of Blood too... duh)

So... still playing Jak II, getting very close to the end of the game now, I've looked at a mission guide to see just how far I am, and the end is apparently close, hurray!

Although I will say, after playing it for 12 hours (My current playtime), after a certain part of the game, it's become a little more... I'd say enjoyable but I'm gonna' replace it with tolerable, the humour and storyline have gotten better for sure, although free roam open world mission based games generally have poor stories in my opinion, since it's hard to keep track of it all and they're never really related to each other, but on here it's getting better, especially with the revelation of some "new" characters. The shooting and driving mechanics are still driving me up the wall though, so, SO terrible! And the difficulty in some missions is insanely high compared to others, but meh.

Well I guess we can't all enjoy Jak II. I'm really anxious to hear what you think of Jak 3 though; it does quite a bit differently as far as transportation goes. How did you like the hoverboarding? I never really got into it but I thought it was decently executed.

I like the hoverboard, I like just randomly going around the city doing stunts and grinding and stuff, it's a nice touch actually... is it in Jak 3 at all?

Yeah. If I recall, you get the thing again relatively early on. It's really fun riding around in Spargus with it, since the architecture is less linear and there is more opportunity for coolness.

So the world isn't as... cluttered and claustrophobic as Haven City? Because seriously, traversing around here, especially in a car/bike is literally THE worst thing ever, if you fly in the sky, you've got a 90% chance of ALWAYS hitting another vehicle, but if you fly on the floor, everyone ducks... EXCEPT THE FUCKING GUARDS! It's basically guaranteed to get you a chase unless you drive as slow and steady as the civilians -.-"

I don't want to spoil much of anything for you, but a large portion of the driving time spent will be in wide open spaces. Haven City and the claustrophobic driving is still there, but the guards that you have a problem with hitting are often too...preoccupied to give chase to you. A lot of your problems with the transportation will be gone in Jak 3, I think.

I think I know what you mean by preoccupied if it's for the same reason as what's happening right now on Jak II... they just don't seem to care what I do right now because of... something else, lol.

I'm pretty close to the end now, but I'm stuck on a mission that's proving to be REALLY annoying...

Spoiler: It's the one where...

You have to defend both Samos' while they're transporting the... thingy machine that Kiera made at the Stadium

Nevermind, managed it, I forgot about being able to shoot while spinkicking if you jump in the air, made it VERY easy...

Also, after I finish the story, there's only going to be like... 3 trophies left I need to get, which is to get 510 metal head gem things (Apparently you can get this through the course of the game anyway, I've only got around 200 at the moment, but I've spent some on two upgrades for Dark Jak, which was a waste since I NEVER use him...), and to get all the precursor orbs, which will be easy apparently, I've only got 40, but there's a glitch you can do to get like 3-6 every minute, so I'll be doing that, should be an easy platinum actually if I do that, lol

Just finished the game, I'll admit, towards the end it grew on me a little, the story wasn't too bad, it had a little... complexity to it... I quite liked it actually. I didn't get the trophy for 510 metal head gems though, which is gay, and there's no way to see how many you have, since I've got some in my inventory but spent some on Dark Jak as I said, but not sure how many I spent...

Got the trophy now, found a guide with the prices of skills on, and I only needed 2 more, easy to get, took me 30 seconds after finding out :D

Gonna' start Jak 3 now
