What the fuck, the Bell Gargoyles were SO FUCKING EASY

I walked in with a full stamina bar and a Drake Sword in two hands, and with my full bar, I got 5 hits in, which killed the first one AND cut its tail off (Cut it off in the first swing), and by the time the other one came, I had another full bar, and killed it in 3 hits... that was so fucking easy, I didn't take ANY damage whatsoever...

Actually I might just upgrade all of my Thief armour to +5 and make it last me longer, I guess I don't mind the appearance of my character as long as my defence is good, and I reckon I should do that instead, it's probably easier too, and I have more than enough souls to get it all to +5, I can just keep farming souls from the red dragon, since I get like 1100 every minute or so (Well, more like minute and half) so it won't take long... and as for my shield, I'm using a Hollow Soldier Shield (I WAS using the Heater Shield, but I found this one yesterday and it's better) so maybe I'll upgrade that too...

If you don't care for "looks" the best medium armor is Elite Knight (can be found in the forest when you go down from that first blacksmith). Personally I prefer armor that looks cool (as I barely get hit anyway) so I'm playing with a full set of Black Knight Armor + 5 including the shield (which except for magic defense, is really good).

The hollow Soldier shield also is the second best shield as far as I know. Either upgrade it to +15 or switch it for a white knight shield once you reach anor londe.

If I was you I wouldn't farm at all at that place. Best place to farm is the painted world of Ariamis (I get 10k souls in less then 30 seconds). By just pulling of a firestorm in the midst of those phalanx-like enemies.

That "nazgul" robe can be found next to the "ceaseless discharge" boss in the Demon Ruins (can be collected after ringing the second bell). But watch out because if you pick it up the boss attacks you.

And lastly, yes the gargoyles are easy, all bosses except for Capra on NG (and Four Kings on NG+) are. When I was trying to enter the sunlight covenant I finished of those gargoyls about 5 times, the level including the gargoyls only took me a good 3-4 minutes.

Well I've upgraded my armour to +3, don't have the materials to get it up to +5, and yeah I have the Elite Knight armour, got it from running by the big statue knight thingies in the forest, didn't even know it was there but I wanted to explore the area, lol, it's not too bad, but I prefer light armour so I can roll around like a mad man, lol. I've also changed out my Spear +5 for a Winged Spear +5, it's only an extra 12 attack, but hey, every little helps, right? And it only took me one farming trip (Lasted less than 2 minutes, if that...) to get it to there, so it's not like I had to do anything drastic.

I've bought another Pyromancy spell too, Fireball, it's so epic how he throws it, he's all like I MAKE FIRE AAAAAND GADOOOOOOOSH! lol. Where do I get Firestorm from by the way? and how many uses does it have?

Also, HOW THE FUCK do I kill the red dragon? (Hellkite Dragon, right?) seriously, everytime I shoot him with arrows, he heals himself so I can't kill him like that, and I don't get a chance to melee him to death, since after the first whack he just keeps breathing fire like every 5 seconds

You can find a ring that changes your rolling animation (into a backflip) if your carry weight is below 50% (so with 40 endurance you should be able to wear every medium armor).

What kind of build do you have? Pure melee, Faith or intelligence? (for a melee build go for lightning weapon, faith divine and intelligence enchanted).

Personally I'm not the biggest fan of pyromancy, it's good in the beginning sure, but quickly grows weak compared to sorcery or miracles.

Also easiest way for the hellkite is melee, but it's best to wait until later in te game to do that.

Dark Souls

Just traversed The Depths and got to the Gaping (vagina) Dragon, killed it, it was pretty easy, didn't get touched, and the strategy was easy, just let it follow you, run out of the way (Don't even need to sprint) and it will stay still for long enough for you to get 5-6 hits in, I did that like 5-6 times and it was dead, lol.

I've got the key to Blighttown now, but I don't know where it is from the boss room (Since I forgot how I got here, I fell down some holes, took a short staircase up, and the fog door was there, lol), so I might just try and work my way back up to the surface, and make my way there from the Valley of Drakes, I might be able to finally kill those big boar guys in the cave that leads there, lol.

What's Blighttown like? The name suggests it's filled with poisonous stuff, so I guess I'll need to stock up on antidote things, lol.

(Also Aepriz, I'm pure melee, except from every so often I'll throw a fireball into a fight or I'll use my longbow to snipe an enemy or two, but never use them as a main weapon)

Nevermind, found Blighttown, very easy to get to from the boss area, lol

You can actually skip the depths and Blightown as a whole and directly go to Quelaag (if you have the master key that is) by using the elevator in firelink shrine (to new londe) and open the door to your right 'which leads to Valley of drakes/blightown).

Be sure to watch out for blowdart snipers if you actually plan on playing blighttown, except for that it's an easy area.

Anyways since you have a pure melee build upgrade your main weapon to lighting. It's the best upgrade path unless you are a Faith/MAgic user with more then 50 points in faith/int.

Hmm, I'd do that but apparently if I can make it to Anor Lando there's a Lightning Spear there for me, right? If not I'll just upgrade my Winged Spear if I can...

Also, I've just got the Spider Shield from above the giant rat in The Depths, easy to get to, gives better damage reduction and stability than my Grass Crest Shield, along with apparently poison resistance which is a GREAT bonus if I'm gonna' go do Blighttown, but it doesn't give me a stamina regen buff :(

Actually you find that Lightning Spear in Sen's fortress. That's right before Anor Londe (Anor londe Just has the Giant Blacksmith, who can make weapon into lightning weapons).

If I was you i'ld just use the hollow soldier shield. i've used it until I got the Black Knight shield and I didn't regret it one bit (why would I , it's the second best shield).

Actually I'd argue that the Spider Shield is better than it, I mean, these are the stats of both shields:

Hollow Soldier Shield
Physical: 100.0
Magic: 30.0
Fire: 65.0
Lightning: 50.0
Stability: 56

Spider Shield
Physical: 100.0
Magic: 30.0
Fire: 72.0
Lightning: 48.0
Stability: 56

As you can see, the Hollow Solder Shield has an extra 2% Lightning defence, but the Spider Shield has an extra 7% Fire defence, which personally I think is better, not to mention it's 0.5 lighter (Although that doesn't make MUCH difference, but it does when you're trying to lower your weight to less than 25% like I do), and let's face it, it just looks TONS better, like a Spartan shield designed by Spiderman...

No other games I can play really, last game I played was the mass effect 3 demo, that's about it.

In before I post images of final scenes from the game.... :p lol leaked.

witcher 2 ~~~~~~~~~

How is it? I never got past the prologue due to the terrible slowdown when playing it on my computer. But I loved the original to death and I have my release copy of Witcher 2 still lying around here somewhere waiting for a more deserving computer.

i'm liking it. the 1st one was hard, but this one is like ... someone pooped in your pants hard.

i set that shit to Normal and have still gotten whupped a few times.

in like 99% of RPGs there are always potions or spells or w/e that will increase a couple of your stats ... for the most part, you just ignore them. the +1 ATK or w/e is always negligible, no need to waste time on it.

but this game FORCES you to use all those potions that you think aren't worth your time. You HAVE TO meditate, and you HAVE TO drop traps etc, if you want to live.

the voice acting is notably better than 1 ... still no awards won, but it's not slap-yourself-in-the-face embarrassing anymore.

the gfx are still some of the most lovely in any game ever (if you have the PC for it)

and whereas BioWare games keep dumbing down and getting simpler and simpler and less like RPGs, Witcher 2 retains all of the complicated inventory management that is a hallmark of a good RPG.

Plus, Geralt is The Boss.

Sounds fantastic, and speaking of voice acting... I recommend getting the Polish voices with English subtitles (personally I have everything Polish, but that's me), the va's on the Polish version are seriously fantastic.

isn't it already out? The Witcher II 2.0? I have it o__o
is there sposed to be an even newer version coming out? cause I just bought it a couple of days ago :V

Well fuck, I didn't cut the Gaping Dragon's tail off while I was fighting it the other day, which means I can't get the Dragon King Great Axe until my next playthrough D:
