What games are you currently playing?

For FFXIII, the world opens up a bit in Chapter 11, then for the remaining chapter it reverts back to its normal form. Post-game you can return here though, so it's no problem. Also, as a tip, I would recommend NOT grinding until near the end of the game or even post-game. This is because there is an item you can get in Chapter 11 called Growth Egg that makes grinding after you get it extremely efficient. Without it (and especially without Chapter 11) grinding is essentially pointless. Of course, you can do whatever you want to :P

This is sort of true, but I grinded in Chapter 11, 12 and 13 right before the final boss, and won the second form in 32 seconds because I had EVERYTHING maxed on all my characters, and they all had their ultima weapons, lol.

Best grinding spot is the adamantoise in eden, without growth egg he already gives 40k cp, not bad for a 120 second fight, not to mention the drops!

+ final boss is so easy with maxed stats and gear, nothing like first time you fase him (that fight made me love poison xP )

That WAS the first time I fought the last boss lol, he was really overhyped...

Obviously I was doing it wrong because I got to the big plains area where everything opens up, started grinding for a while, got waaay tired of grinding, and gave up on the game forever.

I found it funny he was weak to poison, and wow poison is really overpowered in battles were enemies have lots of hp.

my friend was siriously underpowered when he battles final boss, until we found out about poison, just cripple him and kep helaing with 3 medics.. easie fight xp (and when you got maxed stats an gear come back for a speedy kill haha)

Well I WOULD be playing DC Universe Online but I went to 6 stores and it was sold out, or not stocked yet!

Went to two GAME stores, and it was sold out
Went to Gamestation, sold out
Went to HMV, they thought it didn't come out until next week, despite the GAME store right beside them having signs up on their window with Batman and Joker, Superman and Lex Luthor etc.
Went to two Tesco's on the way back, one of them said it was sold out, but they only stocked 10 copies anyway, whereas the other said they weren't allowed to stock them until after midday, so I went back at 2pm and they were sold out... what the fuck.

Why is it so hard to get this game?! I mean, I didn't even think many people would be playing it for PS3! D:

maybe they just undership the game. so like each store got like 1-2 copies or something

So I finally finished FFXIII a few nights ago only to have the sequel announced today. dammit all.

What did you think of the game? I don't get why people hate on it, I personally loved it, and can't wait for the sequel, which is apparently coming out this year, probably only for Japan, but still...

Aaaanyways, since Tuesday, I've finally had a copy of DC Universe Online, turns out GAME decided to get huge stock in for Tuesday and market the game all around the store, with cardboard cutouts of the heroes/villains, and people were actually lining up with copies, lol.

It's so fucking amazing y'know, I'm playing as a dual wielding (swords) ice man who has super speed, also a hero, and I love getting into random fights with villains, because I've got this skill that turns them into a big block of ice, so I can pick it up, run up to the top of a huge building, and just throw it off while they're stuck inside, then jump down with 'em and just wreck their shit with my stun attacks so they've just got to sit there and take it like a bitch, lol.

I'm only level 19 on my character, how people got 30 in 2 days is beyond me... but I do have two other characters, a villain with fire powers and uses his fists, who can fly... and another hero who uses acrobatics, gadgets and dual pistols.

My character names are cool!

Hero: Ice Cap
Villain: Sun Ray

... Get it? They're arch enemies!

Just got a Stargate Pinball Machine and I've been trying to beat the top score it came with for a few days. So far I got the bottom four out of five scores. I've also been playing my Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 cabinet, kicking ass with Stryker, Kabal, Kano, and Smoke.

Of course, I shouldn't forget my daily four-to-eight hours of poker that I play on PokerStars.com and in a casino(the vast majority of the time played coming from the former). Came in third during a ten-handed sit-and-go yesterday, and won $75 off of a $60 buy-in.

I thought it was good, and it's probably the most beautiful final fantasy I've played, but not my favorite. I'll probably pick up the sequel as well

(yeah I'm kind of on a barebones diet, my comp had a drive failure so I lost all my data - will probably have to play through ME 1+2 again cause my saves are gone, but that will be closer to ME 3's release [which will be awesome!])

Also, TOR is coming out in only a couple of months! YES!

Getting back into RuneScape since I applied for a job there for next year. Unlikely to get it (3/52 chance) but it would be nice. Uh, Wilderness and free trade coming back, but I never considered RS a bad game anyway regardless of what everyone says. If you're a member, that is. Currently playing D

I think Runescape gets the hate mostly from the low-grade graphics and mass of noobs. But otherwise it's a great game, but it didn't hold my attention much.

But Runescape doesn't really have low-grade graphics, slap everything up onto highest, set the resolution as high as you can, and it looks really nice...
