You really should try Civ 4. Once you do, you can't go back...

... especially because they removed that AWFUL "corruption" feature. I could care less about the graphical update--I'd play Civ 1 on Civ 4's engine and concepts, but God that was a terrible design decision.

I'm playing a bit of Ogre Battle 64. We were too poor to get such an expensive game back when it came out, and it'd be silly to buy it now since it's a ridiculously expensive collector's item, but in spite of Project64's lackluster emulation of it and high crash rate and not being allowed to see if its 1.7 beta is more stable than "I will crash randomly on the Organize Troops screen" 1.6, but whatev'. I'm finally getting to play the sequel to one of my favorite SNES games.

I think it's a good idea - but it does start to annoy me that my far-flung colonies are building damn-all.
