the story is a pretty big step up from the dad/water shenanigans of 3 and the atmosphere is pretty great, I couldn't recommend it until the bugfix. I just had to start from a 3 hours previous savegame because of a glitch that fucked up a quest.
GOD DAMN YOU fallout glitches!!!!!!! I just lost 3 hours worth of work because the fucking game didn't actually save any of the autosaves or quicksaves!
I bought Medal of Honor (Why the hell isn't it spelt Honour on the case or on the game?!) earlier today, played the online for a good 3-4 hours, and just done the story for 3-4 hours, not sure how far I am...
You first get control of Dante Adams, when you jump out of the helicopter and it blows up as it flies off, I'm a little past that, got to give covering fire to my teamies by shooting at some guy on an MG, lol... no spoilers after this please!
When I first put the game in, installed it all and did the update etc. I jumped online to see how it was, and in the first match I lagged like mad, everyone was stopping and starting, and bullets would take a second or two to hit someone, I was like uh oh this is gonna' suck... but the next match, and all the others, have played fine, except, I don't know if it's lag, or uses the same system as BFBC2, where bullets take a while to hit someone, but sometimes it can be annoying when I'm taking fire while running for cover, I get behind something, or just run into a room where I can no longer be seen or shot, and die half a second later...
But that weird thing aside, the online is actually really fun, I can't remember what my favourite gametype is called, but it's the thing with 5 objectives (Is it 5 or only 4?), it was on BFBC2 too I remember, but still can't remember the name, where if the attackers capture the objective, another one opens up, and it keeps going until the defenders have been pushed back to their last base etc. There aren't many choices for weapons and attachments though, but it doesn't matter too much, since they all do their job, and have super accuracy too...

Nah I kept restarting from chapters/checkpoints and stuff trying to get the extra trophies, still haven't managed to jump 7.5 meters on the quad yet, fuck knows how you're meant to do it, lol...

Theres people losing 10-12 hours of gameplay, apparently in one of the quests there's a suit or something, and if you pick it up, and save the same afterwards, it says it can't find a save file, can't find a hard drive, and corrupts your save... a lot of people have been having it too.
i can understand quirks in hardware & driver & shader compatibility etc, b/c it'd be way hard for them to test every combo.
i can understand a few errant typos or maybe one or two quest glitches considering the amount of text & quests they give you, and the fact you can do them at any time and some may interact
i can understand occasional clipping or sticking issues, or pathfinding/npc location issues, as it's a big ass environment with a lot of shit in it you can potentially move around or alter
but
saving errors :|?
that is
i dont know how that could be not caught
did they not test it

I just bought it on xbox360 and I've yet to experience that. I'm guessing it may be a rehash of an old fallout glitch where continue doesn't actually load the most recent save but some random point?
Currently KotOR 2, Minecraft, and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. I'm interested in F:NV but am not buying it until I can get it for cheap because I am way broke right now.
