What games are you currently playing?

Warhammer Online because I like the PeeVeePee.

Dragon Age Origins + Awakening because I recently made the move from 360 to PC, and my god it is way prettier and I don't mind restarting.

Also been playing Scrabble. It's a fun game.

... Don't they just post it through the letterbox? If a package is small enough to fit through that's what they do here, lol...
Normally they do that yeah, but apparently this was something special idk...

So I beat the Halo: Reach campaign on normal at around 7:30 - 8:00 and then I shut it down, took a shower ate breakfast and went to sleep until 12:30. It was a really satisfying game; I can't wait to start playing the multiplayer.

Has anyone played the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent? It's on Steam for 19.99, and looks pretty fucking cool.. it's a survival/horror/action/adventure in first person, or so they say. The reviews for the game all seem to put it up real well. Anyone have any personal info on it?

The part near the end when he hides in the closet just.. man. You have 0 weapons against w/e it is you're up against, so the only thing you can do is hide..

This part of a review just makes it sound so.. so awesome:

"Amnesia isn't just a game where you can't fight the monsters. It's a game where you can't look at the monsters. Doing so drains your sanity and increases the chance they'll spot you. Sometimes this not-looking isn't a problem because the monsters are invisible, but in places it's the most horrible thing in the world. Imagine it. You're hiding from a monster in the sole pocket of shadow in a room, and all you can do is stare at the floor."

So I was playing Brutal Legend yesterday, and wow...

It's actually a really amazing game, I mean, it's got this great art style to it, and looks gorgeous, so much variety in the environments, I just like to drive around with the radio on running over animals and shooting 'em with my missile launchers...

As for the gameplay itself, the RTS elements can be a little confusing, but they're not at all bad, I don't see why people were complaining, the only gripe I have is that it's annoying sending specific units off on their own, since you have to hold Triangle around them, then keep it held down, hold L1 to make a marker, and press right on the DPad to make 'em move there, it can be a pain in the arse, I just like to move everyone at once.

The story is either really short, or moving at such a quick pace, I've played for 4 hours and it feels like I'm near the end already, but on the stats screen I've only done like 38%, so I guess ATLEAST 30-40% of that will be the side quests and collectables and stuff...

It's also a shame no one goes online with it anymore, although I'm quite happy playing against the AI anyway, but meh, it'd be nice against players...

I've also been playing a little bit of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, I chose to play as Ventus since he just seems like the generic main character of the game... and he's pretty much just Roxas with a few visual changes and a different name... I'm not too far, only done two of the worlds on it, they're pretty short, then I've done some fights in the arena thingy...

AND THEN, I've put Yakuza in, but not played it as such, on the menu it's got the story for Yakuza 1 + 2, they're about 20 minutes long each, so I thought I'd recap and watch 'em, and think once I finish Brutal Legend and/or Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, I'll play through it.

tl;dr

Brutal Legend is an amazing game, with some of the best visuals I've seen in a while (I love the art style so much on it)
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep so far is meh, it's apparently the best one since the first, although I liked the second more than the first anyway, let's see if it changes through the coruse of the game.
Not played Yakuza 3, just watched the story videos for the first two games.

Just played the demo for Enslaved: Odyssey To The West...

Holy fucking wow...

It's actually tons better than I was anticipating, it's like the Uncharted/2 of multiplatform games, it's graphically stunning, with some amazing set pieces, and the combat is pretty similar, the only problem was the framerate didn't feel steady, I mean, there weren't any slowdowns, but at times it felt choppy, maybe that's just the UE3 though, since it's an old engine, but damn the lighting/shadow effects are still amazing.

This game has gone from a "Hmm... might check it out when it's half price or less" to a "Wow, I'll be in the store on launch day..."

Seriously, you guys need to check it out, although it's exclusive to EU PSN, so if you don't have a PS3, unlucky I guess, but seriously... it's amazing.

Played some more Fallout 3. Those is completed.

I have these broken looking quest that I might need to fix somehow. That's about it.

So today I finished Brutal Legend, I've got to say, it was a pretty satisfying game, the story wasn't too bad, although the "plot twist" was pretty meh, although I'll admit I didn't see it coming, and the RTS still has me a little baffled at times, but hey, it didn't make the game any worse, I don't get why people were hating over it...

I also today, got to play Yakuza 3 properly (Only watched the Y1/2 videos the other day to get me up to speed with the story) and wow, it's really good, I mean, I'm still only in th early stages of the game apparently, but fighting is wonderful on it, when you get a full heat bar and glow blue, then throw some guy onto the floor and stomp on his head, oh god it's fun, and feels SO rewarding too. The only two problems I've had so far is that none of the minigames feel... complete, like, they're fun to play, I've been playing Golf and gone fishing a lot, but I don't know, it seems they were just added in as a gimmick or something... oh well. The other problem is how durability works on the weapons, I was in a pawn shop, and was like "Ooh, a baseball bat for only 3,000Y, I'll take that!", turns out I can only whack with it 15 times before it breaks, when I saw the numbers I thought it was how many people you can kill with it before it breaks, but it turns out it's hits, and it took me 10 hits with it, including a heat attack where he hits them in the stomach with it, when they fall to the floor, he hits them in the face, 'tis very nice...

Has anyone else played it yet? And if you have, how long did it take you to finish? Because I'm on Chapter 3 and my playtime is 5:33, I assume I've taken longer than normal since I've been playing minigames and looking for fights on the streets.
