So I was playing Brutal Legend yesterday, and wow...
It's actually a really amazing game, I mean, it's got this great art style to it, and looks gorgeous, so much variety in the environments, I just like to drive around with the radio on running over animals and shooting 'em with my missile launchers...
As for the gameplay itself, the RTS elements can be a little confusing, but they're not at all bad, I don't see why people were complaining, the only gripe I have is that it's annoying sending specific units off on their own, since you have to hold Triangle around them, then keep it held down, hold L1 to make a marker, and press right on the DPad to make 'em move there, it can be a pain in the arse, I just like to move everyone at once.
The story is either really short, or moving at such a quick pace, I've played for 4 hours and it feels like I'm near the end already, but on the stats screen I've only done like 38%, so I guess ATLEAST 30-40% of that will be the side quests and collectables and stuff...
It's also a shame no one goes online with it anymore, although I'm quite happy playing against the AI anyway, but meh, it'd be nice against players...
I've also been playing a little bit of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, I chose to play as Ventus since he just seems like the generic main character of the game... and he's pretty much just Roxas with a few visual changes and a different name... I'm not too far, only done two of the worlds on it, they're pretty short, then I've done some fights in the arena thingy...
AND THEN, I've put Yakuza in, but not played it as such, on the menu it's got the story for Yakuza 1 + 2, they're about 20 minutes long each, so I thought I'd recap and watch 'em, and think once I finish Brutal Legend and/or Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, I'll play through it.
tl;dr
Brutal Legend is an amazing game, with some of the best visuals I've seen in a while (I love the art style so much on it)
Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep so far is meh, it's apparently the best one since the first, although I liked the second more than the first anyway, let's see if it changes through the coruse of the game.
Not played Yakuza 3, just watched the story videos for the first two games.
