If you feel like taking all three with you. Then yeah, why not? But the psp is the only device I know of (save a laptop, but thats kinda big) which allows you to do everything on the go.

I got both at launch but sold the PSP. I eventually mooched off of my friend and played Loco Roco, which I enjoyed wholeheartedly. It's upsetting that Loco Roco bombed in Japan, but hey. I may consider getting the PSP again, but only once it's dead and/or cheap.
I like my DS, whether or not the two screens are gimmicky or whatever. A gimmick or two doesn't set my hands on fire, and some fun stuff may or may not come of it. So far, I'm satisifed with my DS, and some games are coming that I want pretty badly. Some games have come for the PSP that interest me a lot, but don't justify the price; namely the Megaman remakes and Loco Roco. Oh, and Gradius Collection. I want that almost enough for a $250 + Games purchase.... All they need to do is make a Megaman Legends 3 for the PSP and I'm sold. Too bad Capcom will never make a Legends 3...

But a laptop can do alot more.

And I agree, a Megaman Legends 3 would be great.

Several thousand pounds? My laptop weighs like 2kg which is roughly 4.5lbs...I don't know what sort of laptop you have but I'd love to see it lol

British pounds...their currency I assume is what he meant

lol my bad...I don't mind taking my $4000 (AUD) laptop with me...After all, I have to take it to school everyday anyway. Each to their own though.

Back on topic though...

you don't live in an area where people tend to have sticky fingers (if you know what i mean). where i live (big city) there's a chance you could be pulled into the wrong alley and beat up if you even look like you're carrying anything valuable on you. sad, but true.

What is that, like $40 USD?

No, it's like $3050 USD...what's that supposed to be an implification of? That us Aussies are economic failures? Well thank you very much.

Sounds like you don't know Melbourne...or Australia even. If you haven't heard, Melbourne is very alike to Boston...in terms of size and atmosphere. Melbourne is a very large city, and unfortunately unsafe at times too.

Awesome Bro

Well im geting a DS next week. Buying Mario Kart DS with it. Also I got a question about one DS game. Is Lunar: Dragon Song a good game?

NO! Stay FAR AWAY from that game. It's all kinds of horrible. You'll thank me for this...

I wish I asked before I got it -_-
At least I enjoy Sonic Rush and I still got my GBA games to play till I get another DS game. Was thinking about the Castlevania game but I don't know. What's up with it's new cartoony concept art? :-/

The saturday morning anime look of the cover is a result of two things- first, the director of the game wanted to lure in people who weren't already into Castlevania-- he wanted to trick shallow anime nerds into playing a good game. Also, the woman who does the artwork for Castlevania games was working on the inferior PS2 game at the time and had no time to work on Dawn of Sorrow. I assure you, the Saturday Morning Anime artwork has little bearing on the game- it only effects the opening cutscene and the facesets and whatnot. The sprite work is still as beautiful as ever, and the game is quite good. Soul catching can get a bit annoying at times, however.

Definately. A Small price to pay for getting a Castlevania game in a timely fashion, without scaraficing the gameplay everyone has come to love.

Aww, I thought this would be about sex :(

Kinda disapointed in both of them, got both, looking into getting the DS Lite, cos the normal ones huge and clumsy, but found I prefer the same games, in general, on a bigger screen.

Too bad you're not likely to see another 2D castlevania (or any other sprite based game for that matter...) on the big screen ever again... outside of ports and rerealeases, that is.

But even then, portables are getting more to the point of the PSOne and N64. The time of 2d games was lost after the GBAdvanced really. Now its all Monster Hunter, Metroid Prime Hunters, even Super Marios gone 3d Pocket Sized.
