I'm exploring other font choices.
I never notice it before but I really like how FFXII displays numbers. It shows all the digits but fades any 0s in front. I'll have to try that.

I'm going to have to redo the background anyways. The gradient lighting doesn't work well with text that stays the same color.
Will you show the new menu? ^^

I'm in the process of making a new logo for the HBGames game, since I can't resize the HBGames logo Wyatt sent me without having disgusting aliasing due to it being a .png, I forgot that VX Ace is only 544x416, so I'm making something a little smaller... but I'm struggling for ideas, lol. I've made one already but it seems too... empty, if that even makes sense.

Think I'll just make a few designs and let people vote on their favourite.

Made a jam in the jam game. just populating it with levels now.

but no, srsly. playing with java. mmmm coffee.
oh, also the programming language. making a thingamajig.

Jason, what are you talking about with aliasing issues? You can't shrink it to end up like this?

Well when Wyatt sent me the edited .png, I tried resizing it and it would end up with weird aliasing issues around the edges and look really rough, the only way to counter it was to add a blur filter around the edges, but it didn't look very nice afterwards... I'd say it's due to the programs I tried while resizing, but that included Flash CS6 too (Which I use to do a lot of drawing and stuff actually, lol) which still gave the same results.

I'm working on mapping the main city of our game, it's coming along pretty well so far, although I sort of wish I'd given myself more room, and I don't want to make the map bigger now since it'd mean having to remake a lot of it... bah!

Disregard this.

So, I was bored again, and clearly I start making Minecraft terrain generators when I’m bored. This was no exception. As with the other two generators that I’ve shown pictures of, this one uses no vanilla Minecraft code when generating chunks. These were all taken on a single run around a fairly small area (less than fifteen hundred square blocks), and they show markedly varied terrain. To note, there is no “bottom” to this world, there is no bedrock, and yes, there are open pits into the void. This is intentional. I’ve always liked such things, and this is one of a few generators I’ve toyed with which did so.

The world itself runs around 200 blocks in height, with a smoothed top and a smoothed bottom which enable shallow building on the extreme upper and lower surfaces, along with deeper building in the ravines, canyons, rifts, caves, and pits featuring heavily in this map. I’m not entirely certain what I’ll be adding to this generator, but I’m sure it’ll be “interesting”, to say the least.
