Seriously, though I've been working on my side project pretty well. It's interesting how I can focus on making a game better than writing a book. o.o

I'm about to convert the "desert town" to a different kind of town for mining purposes. And continue creating the mines.

Sweet, thanks for the response! I know of those, but I remember a couple months ago that there was talk about people actually doing project threads etc, so I'd thought I'd do that, considering its more than just mapping ofc :)
 
I'm done Playtesting LA2 for now. I'm super busy but I managed to put at least 8 hours into the game last week. Tomorrow I'm making a promise to finish battler sprites.
 
Went to work on my RPG Maker project from last year and realised it's not on my computer. Anywhere.

I'm going to have to download and hack my own game.

...again.

What encryption and what version of RM have you used? Tell me and I will see if i could decrypt that.
 
I failed to finish battlers today. But I fixed an issue in LA2 where the character's Skill Points were stored in a hash with the character's class id which meant if the character changed classes the SP would change too. Easy to fix, but to make sure we could still use our save files I had the script add up the SP values if the SP was a hash.

I'm suppose to be traveling tomorrow but it looks like there might be snow. So I might get some free time to do more developing.

Going through my old projects to find one worth finishing off. I was looking for tiles for a new game but then remembered one I was doing a kickstarter for which failed, and it's pretty polished so I thought I'd work on that. Chronicles of Afar, which is the offline version of Afar really, and is a continuation of my first RM game of the same name. I actually have something to show for this so will upload the demo when I've added a bit more content to it and maybe finished the battle system.

Surprisingly, I made some progress with my game today... I actually opened it up, yeah? And... set a move route and about three lines of text on an event. BOOM!

Gonna' try and do something else on it for the next hour actually.

So... I did actually work on my game for about an hour... ish.

Yeeeeaaaah... it's just one big cutscene so far. I need to stop doing that.

I'm pretty fucking good at making cutscenes...
 
Desperation of A New Era, two intro complete, one part complete, still working on part two, might be too long, before I want it to end.

But I'm on the last length of it with a new character entry, then working on part 3.
 
Working on rephotoshoping the crap out of my battle menu for a CTB. Not really that hard, I just hate inconsistency, when I update my main menu or something and one looks better I have the OCD habit of making them all look as good.

As well as cranking hard on a Mag style script that I have neglected working on for a long time.

Working on Motion Zoom Blur. original script credit goes to Fênix
It is modified to spend less resource and added features. But zoom motion blur seems to be bit buggy since
this thing's has some problem with sprite.ox and sprite.oy.
