I found a really neat engine with lots of great features for Game Maker. I'm probably going to use a lot of it.

Working out a game concept for a humor based game in Unity.

Struggling to work this out. Who'd have thought mechanics for pacman could be so complicated. Just little niggly things is all, and also the fact I now can't get SFML to work in visual studio :pissed:

I've found a great levelling script for Runescape so while that's pumping away I'm messing around in Game Maker, adding new features etc. to my Asteroid Defense game, I'm going to be tweaking the difficulties and seeing if I can add new gametypes (Yeah... to a defense game, lol), I want to pack as many features in as I can before moving onto something else, and by that I mean my other game that's sort of finished except it's all in pieces (I've got all my levels done, they're just not linked together and I need to add some filler for it to make sense).

So yeah.

Well I should be updating Asteroid Defense, but the truth is that I can't be arsed at the moment, maybe tomorrow.

Sitting here staring at my coursework wishing it would do itself. I'm making pacman! How... cool.

Finished my pacman coursework. It's a bit disappointing we didn't actually make the whole game, but was still an interesting venture I guess. This is for the AI module not the game programming module though so that's understandable. 25% of 25% - done! uch:

Currently I'm designing some puzzle objects in Game Maker and figuring out GML and finite state machines in GML.

Database coursework. Producing a very large database in Oracle for a lawnmower repair company. What does this have to do with game making? I dunno, ask my University. Tedious, boring, and long.
