The servers wont load....

The server is online at weird times, probably, to you as I'm in the UK. It will probably be on, now, from 7:00 AM GMT until 10:00 PM GMT, on weekdays. I can't garuntee that though, as I'm currently residing in hell, and so can't restart the server program if it crashes or if something happens to my PC...

I thought you said that you spent the money on a reliable server? Or are you just running it off your computer? Either way just leave it on when you're sleeping. If you want this to become successful at all, it's necessary to have at least a 95% uptime.

I'm a light sleeper and my PC is right next to my bed, so leaving it on all night isn't an option.

When it's running on the Java server it'll be fine as the server (machine) is in the study.

I've been having trouble re-installing Linux on the server, so can't test the program 'till that's done., unfortunately.

(I installed Windows Server 2003, only to find the actvation code didn't work - and that it formats your HDD before asking you for the code...)

ONE time it was working and it had a shitload of passability errors...

I'm talking to you from the server now ( ), finally got Linux reinstalled properly. I'm installing Java on it now, not sure if it's the right version or not. 'Tis taking a while to install. Then I can finally test the Java server program, and see if it works or not. Hopefully it does, and if that is the case, then the game can run off the actual server rather than my PC

I thought your server was made in Ruby?  Java is much better though, so :thumb:

Do you plan on releasing the more full-fledged version of your game when you get the server all set up?

Oh yeah, S S Muu remade it in Java as I couldn't get the Ruby one to work :/

I plan on releasing a much better version once the server's working fine. I don't want to do any releases before then, as it makes the game look crap(er) if it's running off my PC, as every time I do anything there's lag spikes.

I just checked all the monsters on the first page, most of them doesn't have any drops, are they just incomplete or aren't they supposed have any?

oh well.. we deserve it.. i do admit that most of israelian kids are stupid in ages 4-18 and sometimes 4-120...

it's more likely that the server isn't online or something.

Damn I really want to play but the server is never online, Wyatt, if your going to do this you need to open up the server more often.

he already did that.  Anyway, yeah the server is never online.  This is one of the few MMORPGs I'd ever really be interested in, but I never get the chance to play.
