The Worst/Most Boring Anime You've Ever Watched

Star Ocean Ex,Naruto and FMA are the most favorite shows.

Naruto is the most annoying character ever lived, Sasuke=Emo.
I still like the other characters throughout. Anime is "let's slow down the story, and focus on small useless parts" related, supposely, Naruto is mostly character related. And less Naruto.

I think the common denominator is this:

A 'good' story being translated into a TV series means that the TV series dilutes and thins out the story... making any reasonable storyarc long and (in some cases.... insufferably) drawn out.

Now in some cases, the 'translated' anime shown over here is not from a television show but from OVAs (sort of straight-to-video series) that may have a mere handful of episodes (maybe '8', maybe '26' tops). In those cases, there may be a tighter continuity and only a couple of 'sideline' episodes that spin off from the main story. But on the whole, the main focus is on a single central goal, mission, quest or what-have-you. Just watch out for a few that have anti-climactic endings that could have been better written. These have better chances for less 'suck'age.

Other than that... Naruto became generally boring after episode 100somewhat.

After episode 122 (I think) start the filler episodes. Parts of story that in the manga don't exist, added only to make money and lenghten the series.
In Naruto there are 100 fillers. 100.
Other than that, it is beautyful. The manga is much better, though.

I believe it was also that in Japan, the anime caught up to the manga. So, they may not have had much material to go on until they allowed the manga to progress more. But your idea is probably more correct. XD

Lets be provocative and say:
Everything sucks except Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Cowboy Bebop and Ninja Scroll:
*Runs away laughing like a madman*

Not really, but Naruto, Pokemon, among others are really bad. They shouldn't even exist.

Anything that's based off a currently serialized manga because once the show catches up with the manga, the filler episodes kick in.

Lol...
No really, you should watch the whole Elfen Lied.

The most boring anime I ever watched were the Megaman anime and King of Bandits Jing.

As far as what the worst/most terrible anime I've seen, definately Reign the Conquerer

What was that one..with the lots of blood..and the cyborg girls....and the, "Nyah!" ???

Makes me think you're thinking of that 3 episode show, Alien Nine. If so, I thought it was alright for its length, kinda annoying, but alright.

Not always. Elfen Lied was still going at the time the series was made, but they ended it at 12 episodes. However, the story had quite a few differences from the source material.

However, what you say is true about all shonens without predetermined end-points.

@PeteD2S -Lol. You actually watched that whole pointless, crappy storylined, show?

Still, Naruto is pretty bad, it's sometimes as slow as DBZ. I mean, COME ON.

i have seen alot of anime but the worst would be
ummmmm mew mew power like wtf sailormoon wannabe
other than that i love pretty much every anime exept lovey kinda anime so boring
dont anyone say u hated pokemon i know everyone loved pokemon when it came out including me but yea now its lame
my more fav anime would be
full metal alchemist
ghost in the shell
naruto
and my new favourite airgear
most of u will think its lame but im into anime like beyblades and crush gear turbo
exept last ep of latest beyblades was like WTF tyson and brooklyn can fly @_@ and thats all i got to say i will shut up now

The worst and most boring stuff I ever saw:

- Dragonball (Z/GT): Repetitive, slow, etc. Like a lot of people already mentioned before me. I did like the planet-travelling stuff at the start of GT though...

- Pokemon: Repetitive with a capital R. Every episode it's "Pikachu this, Pikachu that". ':| And not to mention that Team Rocket was there EVERY EPISODE except for the very first one where Ash got his Pikachu. Blergh.

- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (boring, but not bad): I love the plot... But some episodes are mere fillers with some bring ones among them (The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya was the worst). I liked it when I watched it, but yeah... The non-chronological order of watching is confusing, and if you watch it chonologically stuff is going downwards after the first 6 episodes. The chonological ending is very lame and you don't know what exactly happens even though you watch the series in the chronological order.
I loved the twists of cliche's, but that's all that there is to this anime.

I never watched Naruto (except for one episode a friend showed). So I can't rant about that series.

Digimon season 1 and 2 where awesome. But I never watched stuff beyond that.

I would have to say Cafe Abenobashi (or something to that effect). Basically, the entire thing is an immature attempt at fanservice while performing terrible parodies of stupid concepts (such as dinosaur movies). It was one of the few animes I have seen that makes me wish I could go back in time and throw it (or myself) out the window.

(@King Moogle - That's pure blasphemy in the Anime Republic.)

I personally dislike watching certain anime (Which would be most), unless recommended to me by people I know. I've barely even touched a manga.

-Transformers
-Love Hina
-Berserk
-Death Note
-Bleach
-Naruto Series 1 (Shippuuden is total smex)
-Chobits

Bigger list, but those are probably at the top.

I personally dislike all anime, unless otherwise recommended to me, as I said. I may draw an influenced style, but yeah.

(What I do consider worth while)
-Noein
-.hack//SIGN
-Naruto Shippuuden
-Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
-Chrno Crusade (Chrono Crusade)
-Hellsing OVA 2 (and 1)
-Most Studio Ghibli Anime Movie releases.
