Draft of a tree I tried to do in Paint(It looks terrible.):

Lokks pretty nice, but you got the trunk and branches too visible.

What do you mean by too visible? Is it for the colors, or should I hide the branches behind the leaves?

Sure, have some patches where they're visible.
But you got too much wood on show. Hide a bit more of the trunk too.

Generally trees have the main part coming out of the ground, then it separated into branches and after about a little after the branches it starts to grow leaves... there will be holes in the leaves here and there but the tree you drew looks more like a tree cut in half for examination...

After drawing a realism picture through that grid method I drew this one night when I couldn't sleep... I'm trying to work on facial differences on gender... Anything I'm missing? (also in your opinion is it a girl or guy?)

They are supposed to be thick, but not long. XD

She's not exactly skin and bones. :D Trying to figure out how to draw a specific body type, still! :D

I seem to have this amazing ability to take like, 10 times longer than anyone else when ti comes to drawing xD

That drawing took me like 15-20 minutes tops.

I am an uber fast drawer, and I wish I knew how to take my time. :x
