Those are some cheap bandages...must be the generic brand.

But real money makes me sad. Somehow seeing 100gp seems more...even though 100gp will only get you one measly potion. Go figure.
 
No! I hate Dollar amount point 99 (1.99, 2.99, 3.99, etc.)
But I have to say, it give it a really diffrent feel - may work really well for a modern day RPG.
 
This is one of my first castle's I make. Any comments?

Its just a test of Item rarity colors, The game hasn't really begun yet, What do you think of the colors?
 
Um, it wasnt that hard for Diablo players to do it. However I dont care for the color choices. I'd make legendary gold, and artifact a darker green, or brown. I wouldnt make rare blue simply because your menu is blue.
 
@ Atnas - Sorry, I'm gonna have some way for them too know, maybe I'll give them a book ingame with all the different controls and other information, because I know I would have trouble remembering the keys for Mr. Mo's Battle System.

@Macchia - I'm gonna make it a lighter blue, and good idea with the artifact and legendary. Also you have about 8 choices at what windowskin you want to use, so It could be different. That was just the one I chose to use.
 
Diablo, Diablo 2, World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, Dungeon Siege 1, Dungeon Siege 2, and a plethora of other PC-RPGs (WC3 included because of the RPG campaign in the expansion) use similar or identical color coding. It's a pretty universal code..

Grey = Junk
White = Common
Green = Uncommon/Magic
Blue = Rare/Rare Magic
Purple = Epic/Epic Magic
Orange/Brown = Legendary
Red = Unique/Artifact (One of a Kind)
 
Thats pretty much what I based it off of prexus, I am a big fan of Blizzard's Games, I have Diablo (2), WC3 (TFT), And World of Warcraft.

Two major things I noticed, for one the wall lacks a top. You need something that is two tiles deep, like the tops of the ramparts. As it is it looks two dimensional.
Also, the bridge seems to extend rather far. I'd actually stop it at the point where it meets the wall and have a stone path the rest of the way.

This is unless your castle is meant to be surrounded by a wall. If it is in fact just enclosed by a moat, and the walls are actually a man made abyss between castle and the rest of the land, then it is okay, although I'd suggest moving the ends of the bridge so that they have an equal amount of purchase on the land on either side. The top in particular looks like it is floating on the abyss in this case. Depending on how you're designing this castle, basically, the bridge might need to move further back or further forward.

The finished product, with the fog, looks pretty good, though. Personally I wouldn't have the soldiers stood behind the standards but that's just nitpicking at this point.

Sonic80, not much to say, except that perhaps you could make the shade of blue lighter to stand out on the background some more? The rest seem readable enough, but the shade of blue blends a bit too well with the backdrop.
 
The fog's too heavy. Its not attractive when its so heavy. And the rock wall seems to be missing a vertical pixel line(note the black line every frame).
 
Diegoale, please, finish this project, cuz I wanna play it so badly.

Now serious, do you already have an release date? Or is it too soon to preview one?

@ccoa: i know, but it gives the feel like their house is higher than the others, which it is because it's on a hill.

@Delmaschio: hmm, well i'm not sure yet, it's too early to give a release date. I'm getting really close to the demo though.
