And, in regards to the (old) Yuugi sprite... please for the love of god and all things holy, PLEASE tell me this isn't for a YGO fan game...
ok, it isn't for a yu-gi-oh fan game. just thought a yuugi sprite would be fitting for a geeky card shop.

oy, yeah i'm not holy.

that is a beautiful screen... by the way is your game widescreen like that? of did you cut off the buttom for some odd reason?

Because the aspect ratio in RMXP makes all rm2k/snes/gba sprites and chipsets look weird when fully view because you're seeing too much, so people crop it out in their screenshots. Though its disinginuous because in the game, the tiles will still be on the full screen and people should be mapping so the whole thing looks good--not just what they crop into misleading screenshots.
OR its two rm2k screenshots combined.

With the circled walls, one gets the impression that the white/blue stuff is a panorama. You should round the blue prints there a little to match the walls. Well... or stick with the edgy version, which looks better either way :P

The diagonal walls looked a bit odd with the darker patches where they were at different angles, but I like the idea. Maybe you could jiggle the map to give it some kind of scroll in the bg as the character moves, even if the map itself doesn't actually move.

Well with the misc. doodads on the wall (specifying the circular wall) it really destroys the perspective. I'd stick with the diagnal walls if I were you.

Make the pillars go behind the two elevated places on the bottom/middle left and right of the screen, the perspective is incorrect.

Im not sure if its the fog or the fog mixed with a screentone, but your screens are very...yellow. In screens full of colorful plants they dont really stand out like they should because you've saturated the screen with yellow. Also, the none-rtp tree looks good but it doesnt intermix with the RTP tree at all.

Thanks for the comments macchia, but the hue of the screens I spent a long time finding and experimenting to get. They tie in with the game. You don't like the tree's? Because they are RTP tree's? Just edited. I used the different styles because when I go walking in a wooded area I never see the same type of trees around. Usually they are all drastically different. Still though, if that's going to be the overall opinion on the tree's I will change them.
