It's a computer interface for a security system, though.
Oh yeah that's pretty obvious now that I look at it again

:/

EDIT: I think I went 10 pixels too far in 4 directions

Made a new outline shader today.

Too buggy for real-time use, but works great with cinematics.

The performance took a bit of a hit, with each object a new render buffer is made for this shader, it would be better if they all shared the same buffer, but it was painful enough setting it up this far.

I've managed to fix the bugs with it by unifying the custom depth buffer, as a result the engine has lost 100 frames per second (~0.9 msec of render time), so this is most certainly used only for cinematics as my target framerate is 300 (I am at 299.9FPS with this effect turned on).

So now the only bug with it is the short distance of activation, the light only shows when the camera is near an object, again, because it's for cinematics this isn't a problem.

Now I need to test it on NVidia GPUs

I've got one of those
Which model is it?

EDIT: Tested on my GeForce 630M, runs at ~160FPS and everything works fine (The anti-aliasing is of higher quality too, but this is well-known for NVidia GPUs, they have always had higher quality anti-aliasing results than AMD).

Both those cards will be fine, it's the older generation that I'm worried about.

I am developing on a 6970 which is just a small step down from the 7870

I've recently lost most if not all of the projects I had been working on due to a PC crash...:(

But I've decided to retry with a new project, just a simple Halloween-themed haunted house escape RPG using custom art. It's cartoony and dark, and looking fairly promising. Here's a short gameplay:

P.S - I'll probably replace the coins that drop with bones or something, to buy items from a "Bone Collector" or something like that :P

The following is a mock-up: I've been fiddling around with making an HUD for Ghost Shard's battle system. The faces animate depending on the what the character is doing during battle. It is an action battle system, by the way. Ignore the green bar in the upper left corner - I must of forgotten to delete that. XD

Star didn't like this too much, so now I have to think of something else. o.o

I completely missed your game for some reason, but was going through all the games for something else and came across yours, I really wanna play it! It's looking good all around.
