Ahaha fixed, thank you! :) Was going for a, 'it needs a lot of chimneys because its a factory' type deal, but I suppose THAT many is too much, lol
 
Well, a factory would have to be alot bigger than that anyway, lol.

But I do like the map otherwise. You have a clear sense of shape in your city and pretty architecture. However, there are one or two problems. I do object to the use of that water tile being used as a doorway, as in the lower left house. Also, it appears as if a shop window is not only being used as a doorway, but being placed 1 tile below where walls actually start, as can be seen in the blue houses in the central area, and the red house in the eastern.

There are also a few other things, but I need to draw all over your picture to illustrate them. I'll do that later.

Yeah, I don't know if I have a wierd version or something, but I have no door tiles AT ALL in that tileset anywhere!!

So I had to improvise. ><

I'm not entirely sure how to import a tileset, is there a tilset that doesnt look terribly different graphically than the default that I should maybe look at?
 
@Latros- ya I was gonna say the chimneys but someone already mentioned it :3 thats definetely one of the better maps i've seen in quite some time, very realistic landscape

also i updated that main menu mock up and customized the save menus too. (Moghunters scripts are remarkably easy to customize!) and 2 new screens of my battlers in action >>

I think overall it looks really good. I like the custom stuff and the template you are using for your characters. However, it is a little bit pixely at the moment compared to your sprites. I would also work on your zombie and make it look more zombie-ish. Also, your dialogue could use some work. I dont know the exact story around your game, but telling the character the exact location kinda would ruin the overall immersion imo. I think adding a bit of mystery and finding out yourself would be more worthwhile. Just my opinion though, again it is looking pretty swell. :D

A screen shot from the game I'm currently poking away at. You've recently been recruited into the Kingdom's Army, and on your way to the castle you're sent on a detour to try and find some Scouts that have gone missing, and in the mean time you end up stumbling across a town that was recently ambushed by the very forces you're trying to fight.

They didn't kill anyone or destroy anything, they just took the people back to the nest for food.

So, how does it look? ;o

Okay, so this is a screenshot for a, get ready... egyptian maze game I'm making using Game Maker... doesn't look too egyptian-y or maze-y though, does it... well you'll have to wait till I've finished it to find out what the hell is going on!
