@RezydentX I really like how you have the tops of your walls. Really gives a great illusion of being indoors :)

@fox5 in the second screenshot you are using tiles wrong. Your wall tile should only work as the bottom tile of the wall, use something that tiles better as it goes up. More variety in the pipes surrounding it too, especially on the bottom left.

I haven't mapped in awhile, so it should be an error somehwere in the map(I've found one already, lol)

@The_Shadow: Looks nice and detailed, haven't found that error yet.

Elevated areas are hard to make in VX in my opinion, they always end up bad for me. But I gave it shot today anyways:

I usually don't do these kinds of maps so there should definitely be some faults in here. But what do you guys think in general?
 
@Woocash: I like the style. However, I'm not a fan of the lighting effects. Also, some of the knives and swords on the right half are hanging off the tables, looks kind of odd.

@Shadow: Map looks lovely. I think the clouds are a little overdone. The waterfall seems to be landing in the water, then falling a little more. Other than that, looking great!!

@JoRu: I don't think it looks that bad. Maybe add a few small cliffs coming off the big one and fix those stairs. You need to make the base come down a tile or 2, unless it's a ladder. Good work though!

I'd like some critiquing on the lighting effects, as I'm still pretty new to it.
 
Well, your lighting effects actually look good. The blue really shines well, and the hints of light coming in the window look great. However, you have a ledge going down to the sculpture but no stairs. It looks funny. Also, the room looks a little large on the whole, maybe try and remove a tile or 2 on each side (especially the hallway coming down to the sculpture). finally, those red centered tiles on the right and left don't seem like the fit.

I really like the lighting effects! Great work! :biggrin:

More or less of a Heads-UP Display we are going to have designed this coming week. Hearts are HP, Yellow bar is Endurance, Cog is a splash image, the icon is a currently equipped Hotkey.

Hey that's pretty cool, reminds me of zelda, lol, mind if I ask what you mean by endurance, do you mean it goes down as you attack, and you need to wait for it to recharge before you can attack again ? Cause if so that'd be cool, lol.

By the way, is that an 8way sprite, as in facing 45 degrees ? Can't say I've seen an RMXP game where 8 direction has it's own sprites, lol.

Thanks, that's the general feel I want. Endurance, is an alternate form of MP. END will cause the player to be limited on the amount of times a skill can be used. You weapon itself is already limited on a timer of how often you can swing so you can't spam attack all day. The idea of draining END for attacks is a good idea too, however I don't know how difficult it will make the game if you get surrounded with no END.

I already mentioned the sprite thing on MSN, so I won't cover that.

Seriously people, nobody commented on Coyote.
CoyoteCraft- If that is some mega ultra badass boss, I have to play that game, with a few touch ups on lines and blocky-ness it will look awesome.

Wyatt- Those yellow lines are really bright, and clash a lot with the rest of the tileset.

Woocash- That looks cool, but a little dark, and cluttered which makes it hard to see whats going on without straining my eyes.
 
@ Wyatt looks pretty cool but what's with the random dead trees in the middle of the street with absolutely no trees around for them to have come from. Other then that it looks good :smile:
