the water autotile doesn't seem different from the one i used, but i'll give it a shot. also, that bridge doesn't go with RTP at all.

First "dream" which Vrital- protagonist in my game- has after "leaving" Underdeep Village. In the game I will make much more dreams, each is a task for Vrital- it's based on BG2 Hell and BG2:ToB Pocket Plane tasks- every choice player do changes main character. Each task has two ways of finishing it- humanic way or the other one, vampiric. I'll try to make both ways kinda equal, so goin' to be "good" wont give more bonuses than being bad bloodsucker ;)

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

I cannot, for the life of me, work out the proportions of that map. How big is the cliff? Where's the water level? It's like an Escher painting. The rest of the map is very good and nice looking, but the cliff proportions are all out of whack.

I've taken another shot of that screenshot, but from a different view and in the editor. Hope it will help a bit more to understand the proportions:

No, it still doesn't work. Look at the lateral bridge. The edge of the cliff on it's left goes right up to nearly the top of the cliff. That suggests that those caves are below the cliffline, but then the waterfall goes over the bridge. How does that work?

Just try and be more careful. Follow the waterlines and the heights of each of the cliffs.

I didn't thought about that. Thank you for pointing that out, because I missed that totally.

Back to work then.

Not in convenient MS Paint edited form!

Just a few areas where the heights of your cliffs don't match up and throw the perspective off. For the upper right two areas, the cliff with the caves and water falls should extend lower, just above where the bridge is located, if it's not clear enough.

@Roxas:
I like the sense of elevation there, and the overall terrain design. c: Although it seems like it's still quite a WIP, as there are many unfinished places - e.g. the cliff near the right bottom corner, and the bridge to the left of it. There are also some cliff height inconsistencies, similar to those pointed out in Shadow's screenshot a few posts up. For example, near the middle to the left (right above the lake), the chain of mountains go from 1 or 2 tiles high to 3 or 4 tiles high. I also recommend using round water autotiles rather than square ones.

Good start, keep at it!

Some little edit in the intro yet again (might need to decorate the floor a bit more in the future):

Hair isn't modeled yet.
But we're getting there :)
The rig for the mouth was done quickly to show the teeth, so there's some deformation and its a bit shitty, but it's not gonna be like that in the final version.
also, the textures on the clothes and hair are roughs, we will be finishing up the textures in a few days, then it's onto the hair and then shaders :D

Eej Roxas, you did nothing with our feedback, the round watertiles, the big tree, the waterfall. Too bad. I gave you the watertile, and you didn't used it.

@Reives, you're screens are always good.. :) But why is you're entrance on the right 1 tile higher than the ground? And I think you're entrance on the left, is a little bit low. And maybe you can sprite that entrance straight in the middle.

@Diegoale2000, you're character look like Link, from Zelda, nice.

The_Shadow: Excellent! Much better! Looking very good!

Reives: Hey, nice. I saw that over at Quintessence. That cave entrance at the top looks a bit weird, though. Why is there a stalagtite in carved rock? I know it's meant to look like it's been smashed or something, but you need more more fractured looking cracks, I think.

Also, I got no comments for this, so I'll quote em again here.

@thios: I did fix the shadowing on the big tree, I put the flowers on the 2nd level and the tree on the 3rd. Wasn't that the problem with it. I didn't realize the water autotiles you gave me were different, thats why I didn't use them. And I didn't fix the waterfall because I don't know how, not out of neglect.

fixed the height issues with the cliffs, added more vegetation, and used the circular water.
