The light was suppossed to come from a lamp from the roof, or ceiling, dont know how you call it XD
but i'll guess i have to make that nicer.
And i like it this dark, hehe

but thanks for the comment :thumb:

For those last two screens, make sure you fix the edges of the ceilings. They don't seem to have corners.

And for stefan, I like it, very nice use of lighting. However, the candle looks a bit strange, it gives off too much light. A candle doesn't give that much light, so make sure you change it into a lamp or make the light smaller.

that's true, i will change that :) thanks

i've also added light to one of my caves,
and yes i know it's dark, but since when isnt it dark in a cave :D

the water on the right is from a waterfall on the outside, kind of secret cave entrance idea. but then with water.
ah well, lets post the screenshot

stefanzzz, your indoor lighting is nice, but mapping could use some work. Try not to make cliffs, water, etc. too straight, and avoid placing objects like trees, rocks, or bushes in a straight line. You could add more objects in the cave. Also, try varying cliff heights and texture (instead of the rock border, try the grass) for the mountain map.

nachos, same thing with caves, they're a little too straight. Also, in your second map, there's a problem with cliff height. The water on the right extends from the top of the cliff to the bottom; that needs fixing.

Nachos, imo the trees below the floating cliff still look too big, also the right side of the cliff has a mistake where the rocks on the bottom don't look like those on the left side.

@regi
true i get your point :) kinda hard to always avoid placing things on one line, i like my forest full of stuff XD
but maybe this is better :D

fixed almost all the cliffs, and some veggie's
and the lightning,

Looks good, but I'm not sure about the rainbow tree in the middle. Just doesn't seem to blend in. Also, why is there a lighthouse in the river? Does it leed out to sea?

I like the rainbow tree, provided you have a good story explanation.

Also, is your game in dutch? Or are you just naming the maps in dutch to make things easier? Anyway, looking good.

Thanks dudes, that rainbow tree is a holy place in my forest, it's a part of the storyline. And my lighthouse is near by the coast.

My game is written in Dutch and English language, first it will be in Dutch at Solarsoft.nl, and when somebody likes my game very much, maybe someone will translate my game to English, and so can I post my game here on Rmxp.org. Because my English is not optimal. :)

I love the colours of that tileset. That's a great edit on the RTP. However, I feel the dark green grass is way too green, and sticks out too much. Also, I have to agree with stefan, the maps are quite empty. (Also, that bridge is giving me a headache, lol. How can it possibly be that shape without anything propping it from below?)
