Hey djrodrix. That's a pretty good map. My only real complaint because it looks unnatural is the well's shadow. It looks wrong because of the way it is on the water. That's just my opinion, and it's being very picky because it is a really nice map.

@Strawberry bomb - It has potential, but the map has problems. The first is the the horizontal walls don't have, well, walls. You should be able to see them instead of jumping straight to carpet. The second is the large, empty rooms. Consider each sqare about 3 feet by 3 feet, and scale your rooms accordingly. Also, subdivide your rooms a little more, and add more furniture. You'd be surprised how you can make a room seem big without actually making it big.

@djrodrix - you have a man floating in midair by the cliff. Also, I think those purple charactersets are supposed to be semi-transparent.

Thanks for the comments.

@The Man - Thanks. I'm not a good mapper, but I do love the surroundings.
@ccoa - The man is meant to be sitting on the end of the cliff (like del said). And thanks for the pink characters' tip.

The illusion fails, though, because his legs are the same length and shaded the same as the other RTP characters. Try shortening the upper part of his robe, and applying a shadow to the robe below the knee.

Once again, I'll take note of your tip.

@Del - That screenshot by DarkAngel must be one of the best ones I've ever seen. Everything is right. I can't spot out any mistake.

Thanks for the advice, ccoa. One problem: I'm not sure how to put walls on the side walls. How do I do that? (The tileset I'm using for that is the Forest Town In set, if that helps.) As for the rooms, I'll go ahead and make them a bit smaller. :)

@lorddonk: I actually really like that gameover screen... just check ur spelling as ccoa said lol.

':|':|':|':| LOL. Man I can't believe I missed that. -_- *sighs*

Thanks for the comments, now if I can remember exactly what I did I can edit the xcf. ;)

Oh, I see. I'm sorry, I guess there was a little misunderstanding on my part. We were talking about different walls, but I see where you're coming from now. Everybody has been such a great help, and I appreciate it.

:D

Mm... reminds me of the very final area of BoF2, only pulled off better. I like how the pillars just disappear into darkness (although a star ended up right in the middle of one on the right and kinda ruins the illusion), but the platforms seem kinda... random? Is there a reason for them?

@Flash: Looks nice, but the characters are waayyyy too saturated compared to everything else. Kinda ruins it. And Skyla, I think the platforms are there to look like they were segments of ground near the building that broke off for whatever reasons.

Flamerfox: Think of it this way: The colorfullness of the characters represents their inner light, last flame to shine through the darkness of the chaos.

The platforms are there for two reasons: 1) To symbolise the chaos of the world, and 2) to look cool.

Im working at new town for BOF game, this is shoping district.
Im want to know your opinion and anything i missed to put inside this map.
Thanks
