Gotta fix the roper ladder on the first one its just floating in mid air and it seems just a tad bit out of place.

One the second on though I can't see it because its shrunk down incredibly due to whatever you used to upload it. But it does have an interesting size.

That's pretty sweet Twin, especially if that water is animated. The problem with the flat, cartoonish style, though, is that if you set priorities it just doesn't look right.

Looks pretty cool, but the characters look weird on the paper. They look like they stand out too much. It might be better if they were somehow transformed into doodle people as well, but I don't know the background to that shot so it might not work.
 
Twin: That reminds me of Yumi Nikki for some odd reason. :D

Blood: Thats a very interesting graphical style you've got there BUT! I can't really see the characters to well. It seems like it has a weird filter effect. It looks good its just it looks fuzzy...?

@those who replied to my screenie: Thanks for tips & compliments; will work on it. And yes the water and characters are animated.
 
I like those pine trees BR, everything looks cool but i can't tell much with the storm in the way.
Imo the storm is cool as is, you're not supposed to see clearly, also looks like it's night time too, but if not then a tad more brightness might do yeah.
 
@Thios: That screen tone is absolutely amazing. It creates a peaceful tone without being to harsh. I have to say I'm in love with that screen.

I'm working on a big forest, it is almost finished. With beatifull bird sounds of course :p Thanks Makasu!!
 
I like the look of the character/template outside the cell and the place has this depressing look that works.

Some things that bother me though.
Bed looks too flat so far, and i don't think you need the blur effect if you're going for simple either but to each his own.
About the doors, the metal pieces give the impression of a diferrent angle, like they are laying on the ground.
Edit: Forgot to add that adding a lighter shade to the top of the door to make it look thick should help this prob.
 
I actually like that Xilef the way it is. For some odd reason. The guy outside of the cell has pillow shaded bots and gloves though. :p But other than that it doesn't look half bad. The bed I feel should be up more. That ways its against the wall and doesn't look as flat like Abomination said. I'm not a huge fan of the door either. I get a futuristic vibe from the screen and the door screams mid-evil to me. Plus any sap could just climb the top and be free! :eek: But its looking good so far.
 
I'd add the wall above the door so it looks more locked-up than how Makasu put it.

Thanks, I'll darken the door and add some shadows on the floors, I'll lower the contrast of the bed too.
(It looks blurry because I reduced the size down to 90% of the original so no one can copy the sprites or anything)
