I know, it's suppose to be like that. the game uses the "jump" feature, so you can jump over the obstacles.

That ways its against the wall and doesn't look as flat like Abomination said. I'm not a huge fan of the door either. I get a futuristic vibe from the screen and the door screams mid-evil to me. Plus any sap could just climb the top and be free! But its looking good so far.
