Thanks, I fix it up =3 (Also, a Non-Character version for better view of the map)

I really like that battle system, it's cool. good job  :thumb: I know this has been said before, but I love those trees!
Anyhow, I took a little break from Last Man's Stand, and made this map. Unfortunatly, Imageshack decided to re-size it, so I've had to split it into two parts. Take a look and tell me what you think (beware, they are massive  :crazy: ):

Nice, I like those screens. Only thing I dont like it the water flowing through, as it doesnt match the other water.

And you prolly noticed, but the wierd autotles near the top.

Also, the transpareny on the BIG tree is wrong.

The waterfall is also using the wrong autotile

The blue little outside room thingie looks like its floating, due to the high grass around it.

Nice work though!
 
I thought to myself "How can I show a screenie of a battle"?

As always any lag is due to the video capturing software, though there is way less lag this time 'round.

Note: Since making this vid, I've made it so that you can't change equipment right in the middle of a battle. You see the blue bar? That shows when you can attack, like an ATB. Now, you can only change equip when this is full.

It's a big step up from the last battle test video - where the player could never even get hit. :)


If anyone wants to make their own videos, the software I used:

-Cam Studio
-Fireworks MX 2004
-Windows Movie Maker

Yes, I is cheapskate.

Hehe, it's because the video didn't pick up the grass texture. The player's moving upwards rather than the enemies falling downwards.

Unless you mean them randomly appearing, in which case they are... respawning, just like in any other game.

That looks awesome, your path autotile sucks though.

Looks pretty good. There are a few places that look off though, for example, in the second screen the stairs on top of the southern most building are overlapping the side of the structure.
