I think just adding a bit on the corners so it transitions better would be good, becuase doors get opened after all, any snow that would've been there just gets pushed out :P
 
Xk8 showing off like the good old days I see. It's been awhile since I've looked in this forum, and surprisingly I'm seeing an improvement in map design. Lisker, looking better everytime keep up the good work.
 
I agree with monkey, there wouldn't be snow in the doors if they were being opened a lot. I like the screen. It's funny how some edits and some new tiles give the RTP a whole new look.

Sorry. I just love this map so much. I'm sorry I put it all together as one large file... well actually I'm not because it looks so much better that way)

I ammended some of the problems in the original... like... er... try to cunning disguise the lack of tiles near the arches whilst keeping them in, and also adding the shadows, along with the very last part of the map.

With the lighting effects, weather effects and SFX it actually feels like quite an experience.

All I need now is a lot more blood and a tank.
 
Can you actually go in all the openings?  I'm assuming so because they have no doors so they can't say "locked" or anything.  I think I counted about 35.  That's a shitload for one town.

No. You're wearing Magitek Armour so can't fit. It's mostly "pretty line" syndrome. Walk along, get some story, learn how to battle and battle... The scene does return later on but mostly in unplayable flashbacks... in fact the entire sequence is just a playable flashback and in fact the only one.
 
The basic idea is that you are a giant xenopus (a type of frog) embryo, and you have to gather nutrients (in this case, chickens) and go through the various stages of embryonic development.

the meter on the bottom shows your progress. You have until the timer runs out to gather as much nutrients (kinda like pac-man) as possible. If you don't have enough when it runs out, you lose!

When you get a nutrient, the timer stops for 2 seconds. Level one doesn't actually give you as much time as in that screenshot. It's actually 0:35. So, you have to keep getting them without being interrupted too much.

There are other elements at play, but those are for the project post that I'm working on.

... whether or not it's fun has yet to be determined.
