As far as I can tell the only word Zork means is the title of a game :/ It's meant to be a sort of... Zombie type thing.

The screen's better.  At least it's somewhat navigable now.

Some more screens from my contest project. The intro is now complete. Its roughly seven minutes long

Some dialouge between a woman and a bartender. Was probably the most fun scene I had writing so far.

The night before the battle. Shows some parts of the encampment.

The night before the battle. Commander Rotklin is talking to some of the more senior soldiers.

@Kaze950: The encampment looks like the same place as where the kid had his flashback. Thats intentional right? Other than that, very nice. Its not too cluttered like some maps.

This is the title screen for a small little project I'm making. I always loved those RM2K games, I thought they had much more character than most of the games now - where people just made games instead of filling up the game with useless scripts. This is something of a return to those simple times. I was wondering what you guys thought of the title screen

Actually, I decided to do away with the flashback thing. It seemed to get in the way of the intro, and I just wanted to get right to the point of the story. So I just decided to edit the old village and turn it into the encampment.

Sailerus there is so much information over top of the enemies you can't even see them. Why don't you float that information elsewhere, or only call it on a need to know basis?

Since then, I've had the enemy's name appear atop their sprite, but I'm not sure where to put the HP/SP bars.  I would have it so that they only appear when targeted, but I'm not exactly the best at scripting.

Kaze950, your game looks sweet! Your maps are excellent and just looking at the screen shots and dialogue in them is making me interested, very interested, and from the screenshots it looks like you have some nice characters.

I like that idea...*stolen*...

nah, seriously, that is a good idea to have something like that.  it helps a player who has taken some time away from the game to jump back in basically.

That's a pretty nice screen, Prexus. Maybe if you gave a bit of background on it, then it wouldn't look so confusing. I mean, twin chicks, some pipes coming out of a ruin, and a brown-robed man. It's looks good, it just doesn't make much sense, without any sort of description.

Also, there's a teeny-tiny white pixel at the base of the tree tile. Near where the tall grass meets the trunk. It's not a big deal, but it might be even more noticeable while playing.
