are, that one looks very nice... also, I figure I'm not the only one messing around with modelled levels ^^ (your screen show me that I put too much efford and detail into those to get about the same awesomeness XD)
Either way, you better share that particle script, as it looks like a huge step forward to everything we've seen before that... in case you kept it lag-free, that is ;)

38 FPS in the scene from the screenshot, and it's constant (not droping over time). As soon as I'm done messing with it I'll make some version to work with the default movement type (it's now with f0tz's pixel) and release it : )

@Impreza - Aside from that awkwardly positioned waterfall, it looks awesome. More on the waterfall, though, I honestly can't really tell what's going on with its positioning. Are those giant patches of darkened grass near the top of it supposed to be the sides of cliffs? If they are, then the waterfall should be colliding with the cliff directly below it, as opposed to being uninterupted. It just looks wonky if left as is.

But yeah, everything else looks top notch. Great usage of the different types of ground foliage!

Thanks :) I don't have a thread and probably won't have one for a while, I posted my previous project very early in development and my hard drive decided to crash, so...

RPG, it's using a custom made ABS, and the sprite is breeze template.

Also, your map is very nicely done, but looking at it makes my head hurt.

perfect! because the concept is it's SUPPOSED to look crappy :D it's basically the adventures of a man drawn by a 10 year old boy during math class. so when i release the full thing, expect stupidity, horrible artwork, and confusing plots all the way through :P
